Fallen behind on a reading plan? Under Your reading (and on the book’s page) you can now spread the chapters you haven’t read yet evenly over the days left, or give the plan a few more days. Your plan’s progress now also shows on the book’s page, and a plan only counts as behind once a day has passed - today’s chapters are never “late”.
Listen to a chapter
Chapters can now be read aloud: press “Listen” at the top of a chapter. The sentence being read is highlighted and stays in view; pause, skip a paragraph back or forward, and choose the speed and voice (your device’s own voices). Arabic is never read by a computer voice - Quran verses are played as a recitation by Mishary Alafasy. Listening to the end saves the chapter as read, and the player can go on to the next chapter by itself.
Quran verses at a glance
Quran references in the books - like [Al-Baqarah: 255] or (2:255) - are now links: point at one (or tap it on a phone) to read the verse in Arabic with its English translation (Saheeh International), and open it on quran.com to read it in context. Don’t want them? Switch “Verse links” off under “Aa”.
