इस्लाम मानवजाति को उन सभी उच्च गुणों, सम्मान और मूल मूल्यों को अपनाने का आदेश देता है, जो आज के अधिकांश समाज में खो चुके हैं।

Islam enjoins upon mankind all traits of nobility, honor, and core values lost in much of today’s society.

❖ माता-पिता का सम्मान: "और अपने माता-पिता के साथ भलाई करो।" (कुरआन, सूरah 6, आयत 151).

❖ Honoring the Parents: “Be good and dutiful to your parents.” (Quran, Chapter 6, Verse 151).

❖ महिलाओं के साथ दयालुता: "और उनके (पत्नी के) साथ भलाई के साथ जीवन बिताओ।" (क़ुरआन, अध्याय 4, आयत 19) पैग़म्बर मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "तुम में सबसे अच्छा वह है जो अपनी पत्नी के साथ सबसे अच्छा व्यवहार करता है।"

❖ Kindness to Women: “And live with them (the wife) in kindness.” (Quran, Chapter 4, Verse 19) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best of you is the one who is best to his wife.”.

❖ महिलाओं के अधिकार: पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "औरतें मर्दों की जुड़वाँ आधी हिस्से हैं; उनके भी वैसे ही अधिकार हैं जैसे मर्दों के अधिकार हैं।"

❖ Women’s Rights: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Women are the twin halves of men; they have rights just as men have rights.” .

❖ इस्लाम में विविधता: इस्लाम मनुष्यों की भाषाओं, जातियों और नस्लों की विविधता को रचयिता की शक्ति का एक निशान मानता है, न कि विभाजन का स्रोत। "और उसकी निशानियों में से आकाशों और धरती की रचना है, और तुम्हारी भाषाओं और तुम्हारे रंगों का अंतर है।" (क़ुरआन, अध्याय 30, आयत 22)।

❖ Diversity in Islam: Islam views the diversity of man’s languages, ethnicities, and races as a sign of the Creator’s power; not a source of division. “And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your languages and your colors.” (Quran, Chapter 30, Verse 22).

❖ नस्लीय समानता: अल्लाह की दृष्टि में किसी इंसान को सम्मानित बनाने वाला गुण तक्वा (परहेज़गारी) है, न कि नस्ल या त्वचा का रंग। नबी मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "ऐ लोगो, निश्चय ही तुम्हारा रब एक है, और तुम्हारा बाप (आदम) एक है। किसी अरब को किसी गैर-अरब पर, या किसी गैर-अरब को किसी अरब पर, या किसी गोरे को किसी काले पर, या किसी काले को किसी गोरे पर कोई श्रेष्ठता नहीं है, सिवाय तक्वा के आधार पर।"

❖ Racial Equality: Piety is the quality that makes a person noble in the sight of God, not race or skin color. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “O mankind, indeed your Lord is One, and your fa ther (Adam) is one. There is no superiority for an Arab over a non Arab or for a non-Arab over an Arab, or for a white person over a black person or for a black person over a white person, except in terms of piety.”.

❖ बड़ों का सम्मान: पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ

❖ Respect for the Elderly: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

उन्होंने ﷺ कहा, "वह हम में से नहीं है जो हमारे बच्चों पर दया नहीं करता और हमारे बड़ों का आदर नहीं करता।"

said, “He is not one of us, those who do not show mercy to our youth and respect our elderly.”.

❖ विधवा की देखभाल: पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ

❖ Caring for the Widow: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

उन्होंने फ़रमाया, "जो व्यक्ति विधवा और मिस्कीन की देखभाल करता है, वह उस व्यक्ति के समान है जो पूरे दिन रोज़ा रखता है और पूरी रात इबादत में खड़ा रहता है।"ﷺ

said, “The one who looks after a widow and a poor person is like the one who fasts the entire day and stands in prayer the entire night.”.

❖ पड़ोसियों के प्रति दया: पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया, "जो अल्लाह और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान रखता हो, उसे चाहिए कि वह अपने पड़ोसी को तकलीफ़ न दे।" ❖ जानवरों के प्रति दया: पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ

❖ Kindness to Neighbors: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not an noy his neighbor.” ❖ Kindness to Animals: Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

ईश्वर के दूत ﷺ ने जानवरों को कुर्सी की तरह इस्तेमाल करने, उन्हें पीटने, या उनके चेहरे पर दाग़ लगाने से मना किया। इस्लाम भोजन के लिए शिकार की अनुमति देता है, किंतु केवल मनोरंजन के लिए जानवरों को निशाने की तरह इस्तेमाल करने से मना करता है।

forbade using animals as chairs, beating them, or branding them in the face. Islam allows hunting for food while forbidding us to use animals as target practice for mere sport.

❖ व्यापार में न्याय: इस्लाम संकट के समय में खाद्य पदार्थ या माल जमा करने और फिर उपभोक्ता से बढ़ी हुई कीमत वसूलने को वर्जित करता है। पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "जो जमाख़ोरी करता है, वह गुनहगार है।"

❖ Fairness in Business: Islam forbids hoarding food or merchandise during times of distress then charging the consumer an inflated price. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever hoards is a sinner.”.

❖ मृतकों का सम्मान: इस्लाम मृतकों का अपमान करने से मना करता है। पैगंबर मुहम्मद ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "मृतकों को बुरा-भला न कहो, क्योंकि इससे जीवित लोगों को तकलीफ़ पहुँचती है।"

❖ Respect for the Dead: Islam forbids insulting the dead. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Do not vilify the dead and by way of that harm the living.”.

इस्लाम सच्चाई, पवित्रता, विनम्रता, लज्जा, वादे का पालन, गरिमा, न्याय, साहस, संतोष, पाकदामनी, सहनशीलता, कृतज्ञता, और गुस्से के समय आत्म-नियंत्रण का आदेश देता है।

Islam enjoins truthfulness, cleanliness, humility, modesty, keeping promises, dignity, justice, courage, contentment, chastity, forbearance, gratitude, and self-control in times of anger.
