डॉ. इसरार अहमद का जन्म 1932 में हुआ। उन्होंने 1954 में किंग एडवर्ड मेडिकल कॉलेज (लाहौर) से स्नातक की डिग्री प्राप्त की और बाद में 1965 में कराची विश्वविद्यालय से इस्लामी अध्ययन में स्नातकोत्तर (मास्टर्स) की डिग्री हासिल की।

Born in 1932, Dr. lsrar Ahmad graduated from King Edward Medical College (Lahore) in 1954 and later received his masters in lslamic Studies from the University of Karachi in 1965.

उन्होंने 1971 में अपनी फलती-फूलती चिकित्सा-प्रैक्टिस छोड़ दी, ताकि इस्लाम के पुनरुत्थान के लिए एक पूर्ण और सशक्त आंदोलन शुरू कर सकें। उनके प्रयासों के परिणामस्वरूप 1972 में मरकज़ी अंजुमन ख़ुद्दाम-उल-क़ुरआन लाहौर की स्थापना हुई, 1975 में तंज़ीम-ए-इस्लामी की नींव रखी गई, और 1991 में तहरीक-ए-ख़िलाफ़त पाकिस्तान शुरू की गई।

He gave up his thriving medical practice in 1971 in order to launch a full-fledged and vigorous movement for the revival of lslam. Ad a result of his efforts, the Markazi Anjuman Khuddam-ul-Qur'an Lahore was established in 1972, Tanzeem-e-lslami was founded in 1975, and Tahreek-e-Khalifate Pakistan was launched in 1991

उर्दू में इस्लाम और पाकिस्तान से संबंधित विषयों पर किताबें। वह मासिक पत्रिका मीसाक़ और मासिक पत्रिका हिकमत-ए-क़ुरआन के मुख्य संपादक हैं। इसके अलावा, साप्ताहिक उर्दू पत्रिका निदा-ए-ख़िलाफ़त और त्रैमासिक अंग्रेज़ी जर्नल द क़ुरानिक हॉरिज़न्स उनके मार्गदर्शन और संरक्षण में प्रकाशित होते हैं।

Urdu books on topics related to Islam and Pakistan. He is the chief editor of two Urdu magazines, the monthly Meesaq and the monthly Hikmat-e- Quean. Moreover, the weakly Urdu magazine Nida-e-Khilafat and the quarterly English journal The Quranic Horizons am published under his guidance and patronage.
