Значение: Исцели нас от болезней сердца так же, как и от телесных недугов тела. Итак, брат мой, ты должен помнить, пока твое сердце полностью сосредоточено, что, когда ты взываешь к Аллаху, Он исцелит тебя как от болезней тела, так и от болезней сердца. И следует понимать, что болезни сердца гораздо опаснее телесных недугов. По этой причине некоторые люди, совершая дуа, говорят: «О Аллах, не делай наши испытания в нашей религии». Телесные болезни и недуги хорошо известны, однако болезни сердца проявляются двумя основными способами.

Meaning: Heal us from the sicknesses of the heart as well as the physical sicknesses of the body. So my brother, you must bring to mind, while your heart is fully present, that while you are calling upon Allaah, He will heal you of both the diseases of the body and those of the heart. And it must be understood that the diseases of the heart are much worse than physical diseases. For this reason, some people say while making Du’aa, “O Allaah, do not make our tribulations in our religion.” The bodily diseases and sicknesses are well-known, yet the diseases of the heart come in two main ways:

1. Болезни пустых желаний, и они возникают из личных симпатий и антипатий человека.

1. Diseases of vain desires, and they originate from one’s personal likes and dislikes.

2. Болезни сомнений и неуверенности, и они возникают из невежества.

2. Diseases of doubts and uncertainties, and they originate from ignorance.

Что касается первого — болезней, порождаемых личными желаниями, — то это когда человек может знать истину, но не хочет следовать ей из-за каких-то личных предпочтений, которые расходятся с тем, с чем пришёл Пророк ﷺ.

As for the first, the diseases of one’s personal desires, is that a person may know the truth, yet may not want to follow it due to some personal preferences, which are contrary to what the Prophet (
) came with.

А что касается второго вида болезней — болезни сомнений и ложных суеверий, возникающих из-за невежества, — то это случается, когда невежественный человек совершает неправильные поступки, полагая, что они правильны. Эта болезнь крайне опасна. Поэтому ты просишь Аллаха об исцелении и защите от обеих болезней — болезней тела и болезней сердца, то есть болезней сомнений, ложных представлений и пустых желаний.

And as for the second type of diseases, that of doubts and false superstitions due to one’s ignorance, it is when an ignorant person does incorrect actions while assuming they are correct. This disease is extremely dangerous. So you ask Allaah for healing and immunities from both, the diseases of the body and of the heart, which are the sicknesses of doubts and false assumptions, and vain desires.
