غسل کو واجب کرنے والے چھ عوامل ہیں۔ وہ عوامل درج ذیل ہیں:

There are six factors that make Ghusl obligatory. The factors are as follows:

1۔ مرد کے عضوِ تناسل کا حشف (2) عورت کے عضوِ مخصوصہ میں داخل کرنا

1. To get glans (2) of male’s private part into female’s private one

2۔ منی کا خارج ہونا

2. To discharge semen

۳۔ کسی ایسے مسلمان کی موت واقع ہونا جو شہید نہ ہوا ہو۔

3. To occur death to a Muslim who has not been martyred

4۔ حیض کے دورانیے کا تجربہ کرنا

4. To experience the menstrual course

۵۔ ولادت کے بعد خون کا بہنا

5. To flow blood after childbirth

6۔ بچے کی پیدائش ہونا

6. To give birth to a child

غسل میں درج ذیل دو امور فرض ہیں:

The below mentioned two acts are compulsory in Ghusl:

۱۔ جسم کے پہلے حصے کو دھونے کے وقت نیت کرنا

1. To make intention when washing the first part of the body

۲۔ پانی کو پورے جسم اور بالوں کی جڑوں تک پہنچانا۔

2. To let water reach the entire body and the roots of hair

غسل میں بہت سی سنتیں ہیں، جن میں سے کچھ درج ذیل ہیں:

There are many Sunnah acts in Ghusl. Some of them are as follows:

۱۔ استنجا کرنے کے لیے

1. To make Istinjaa

۲۔ غسل کرنے سے پہلے وضو کرنا

2. To perform Wudhoo before taking a bath

۳۔ جسم پر مسح کرنا

3. To rub the body

۴۔ جسم کے دائیں اور بائیں جانب سے آغاز کرنا

4. To begin with the right and side of the body

۵۔ تین مرتبہ پانی بہانا

5. To pour water three times

6۔ جسم کے اگلے حصے کے خشک ہونے سے پہلے اگلے حصے کو دھونا۔

6. To wash the next part of the body before the former gets dry

وضو کی صحت کے لیے جو شرائط لازم ہیں، وہی غسل کی صحت کے لیے بھی لازم ہیں۔

The factors that are conditional for the validity of Wudhoo are conditional for the validity of Ghusl as well.

وہ اعمال جو وضو میں مکروہ ہیں، غسل میں بھی مکروہ ہیں۔

The acts which are Makrooh in Wudhoo are also Makrooh in Ghusl.
