۱۔ امام کی پیروی کی نیت کرنا

1. To make intention of following Imaam

۲۔ امام سے آگے نہ کھڑا ہونا

2. To not stand ahead of Imaam

۳۔ کسی نائب کی مدد کے باوجود امام ﷺ کی حرکات و سکنات سے باخبر رہنا

3. To be aware of Imaam’s movements even with the help of a representative

۴۔ امام کے قریب ہونے کے لیے، اگر نماز مسجد کے علاوہ کسی اور جگہ ادا کی جائے۔

4. To be close to Imaam, if Salaah is performed at a place other than Majid

۵۔ امام اور پیروکاروں کے درمیان رکاوٹ نہ بننا

5. To not be a barrier between Imaam and the followers

6۔ بغیر کسی ضرورت کے امام سے آگے نہ بڑھنا اور نہ ہی ان کی پیروی میں نماز کے دو ارکانِ ضروری سے زیادہ تاخیر کرنا۔

6. To not exceed Imaam nor delay in following him by two Rukn-essential parts of Salaah without any necessity

۷۔ امام سے پہلے یا جب وہ (تکبیر) پڑھ رہے ہوں، تکبیرِ تحریمہ نہ پڑھنا۔

7. To not read Takbeer Attahreemah before Imaam or when he reads

8۔ امام کی پیروی کرنا، بالخصوص سنت کے معاملے میں جہاں اختلافات نماز کو باطل کر دیں گے، جیسے کہ پہلے تشہد کے لیے بیٹھنا اور سجدہ سہو کرنا۔

8. To follow Imaam particularly in the Sunnah where differences will invalidate Salaah like sitting for the fist Tashahhud and Sujood Assahw

9. امام کے لیے نماز کی تکرار کو ضروری نہ سمجھنا

9. To not consider repeating Salaah as necessary for Imaam

ہر عقل مند اور بالغ مسلمان کی نماز میں اقتدا کی جا سکتی ہے۔ لیکن ایک مرد عورت کی اقتدا نہیں کر سکتا اور نہ ہی ایک قاری کی اقتدا ایک امّی کر سکتا ہے۔

Every sane and adult Muslim can be followed in Salaah. But a woman can not be followed by a man nor can an Ummee (2) be followed by a Qaree (3)

فرض ادا کرنے والے کے لیے اس شخص کی اقتدا کرنا جائز نہیں جو نفل نماز پڑھ رہا ہو۔

. It is not permitted for one who is performing Fardh to follow someone who is performing Nafl Salaah.

ایسے شخص کے پیچھے نماز پڑھنا مکروہ ہے جسے اکثر لوگ ناپسند کرتے ہوں۔

It is Makrooh to perform Salaah behind a person who is disliked by most of the people.

کسی بچے کے پیچھے نماز پڑھنا بھی مکروہ ہے، یا وہ شخص جو ایسی چھوٹی غلطیاں کرتا ہو جن سے معنی نہ بدلیں، یا وہ شخص جس کی ختنہ نہ ہوئی ہو اگرچہ وہ بالغ ہو، اور وہ شخص جو نجاست سے بچنے میں مبتلا ہو۔

It is also Makrooh to perform Salaah behind a child, one who makes some minor mistakes which do not change the meaning, one who is not circumcised even he is Baaligh and one who does not prevent from impurity.
