وضو کی صحت کے لیے پانچ شرائط ہیں۔ شرائط درج ذیل ہیں:

There are five conditions for the validity of Wudhoo. The conditions are as follows:

1۔ مسلمان ہونا

1. To be a Muslim

2۔ درست ہونا

2. To be sound

۳۔ جسم کے وہ حصے جنہیں وضو میں دھونا ضروری ہے، ان کا کسی ایسی چیز سے پاک ہونا لازمی ہے جو پانی کو پورے حصے تک پہنچنے سے روکے، جیسے کہ موم، چربی یا آنکھوں کے کونوں میں جمع ہونے والا رطوبت۔

3. The parts of body which are washed in Wudhoo must be free from any object that prevents water from reaching the entire parts such as candle, fat and discharge collecting in eye corners.

4. وضو کے کسی فرض کو سنت نہ سمجھنا

4. To not regard any Fardh of Wudhoo as Sunnah

وضو میں چھ طریقے ہیں جن پر عمل کرنا ضروری ہے۔ وہ طریقے درج ذیل ہیں:

There are six practices in Wudhoo which are necessary to follow. The practices are as follows:

۱۔ چہرہ دھونے سے پہلے وضو کی نیت کرنا۔ ۲۔ پیشانی کے بالوں سے لے کر ٹھوڑی کے نیچے تک اور ایک کان کی لو سے دوسرے کان کی لو تک پورا چہرہ دھونا۔

1. To make the intention of Wudhoo before washing the face 2. To wash the whole face from the hair of the forehead to below the chin and from one earlobe to another.

۳۔ دونوں ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں سمیت دھونا، بشمول انگلیوں کے وہ سرے جو لمبے ناخنوں کے نیچے چھپے ہوئے ہوں۔

3. To wash both the hands including the elbows and the fingertips covered by the long nails.

۴۔ سر کے کسی حصے پر مسح کرنا، خواہ وہاں بال نہ ہوں۔ صرف ان لمبے بالوں پر مسح کرنا جو سر سے لٹک رہے ہوں، کافی نہیں ہوگا۔

4. To make Masah of some part of head, even if there is no hair. It will not suffice to make only Masah of long hair follows from head.

۵۔ دونوں پاؤں کو ٹخنوں اور ایڑیوں سمیت دھونا۔

5. To wash both the feet including the ankles and the heals.

6۔ مذکورہ بالا چاروں اعضاء کو دھونے میں صحیح ترتیب برقرار رکھنا۔

6. To maintain proper sequence in washing the above-mentioned four parts.

وضو میں بہت سی سنتیں ہیں، جن میں سے چند درج ذیل ہیں:

There are many Sunan acts in Wudhoo. Few of them are as follows:

۱۔ بسم اللہ پڑھنا

1. To recite Bismillah

۲۔ برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالنے سے پہلے دونوں ہاتھوں کو کلائیوں تک دھونا۔

2. To wash both the hands up to the wrists before putting them into the container

۳۔ مسواک کا استعمال کرنا

3. To use Miswaak

۴۔ غرارے کرنا

4. To gargle

5۔ ناک میں پانی ڈالنا

5. To rinse the nose

6۔ پورے سر کا مسح کرنا

6. To make Masah of the complete head

۷۔ کانوں کے بیرونی اور اندرونی دونوں حصوں پر مسح کرنا۔

7. To make Masah of the both outer and inter parts of ears

۸۔ ہاتھوں اور پاؤں کی انگلیوں میں خلل کرنا

8. To make Khilaal of the fingers of hands and feet

9۔ گھنی داڑھی میں خلال کرنا

9. To make Khilaal of the thick beard

۱۰۔ انگوٹھی ہلانا

10. To shake the ring

11۔ پہلے دایاں ہاتھ دھونا

11. To wash the right hand first

۱۲۔ ہر عمل کو تین بار دہرانا

12. To repeat every action three times

۱۳۔ پچھلے حصے کے خشک ہونے سے پہلے اگلے حصے کو دھونا۔

13. To wash the next part before the previous one gets dry

15۔ دھوتے وقت اعضاء کو ملنا

15. To rub the parts while washing

16. وضو مکمل کرنے کے بعد دعا پڑھنا

16. To read the Du’aa after completing the Wudhoo

وضو میں درج ذیل چار کام مکروہ ہیں:

The following four acts are Makhrooh in Wudhoo:

۱۔ ضرورت سے زیادہ پانی کا استعمال کرنا

1. To use water more than necessity

2۔ بغیر کسی جائز وجہ کے کسی سے وضو کروانے میں مدد مانگنا

2. To seek someone’s assistance for making Wudhoo without any valid reason

۳۔ مخصوص اعضاء کو تین مرتبہ سے زیادہ دھونا

3. To wash the specific parts more than thrice

4۔ جسم کو خشک کرنے کے لیے

4. To dry out the body

وضو توڑنے والے اعمال چار اقسام کے ہیں۔

Acts that can invalidate one’s Wudhoo are of four types.

1۔ جو کچھ بھی کسی بھی شرمگاہ سے خارج ہو۔ 2۔ پینے، بیماری، بے ہوشی یا اس طرح سونے کی وجہ سے ہوش و حواس کھو دینا جس سے مقعد (ہٹ) جائے۔

1. Whatever comes out from any of the private parts 2. Losing sense by drinking, sickness, fainting or sleeping in a way that the rumps.

زمین سے وابستہ نہیں ہیں۔

۳۔ کسی رکاوٹ کے بغیر مخالف جنس کے غیر محرم کے ہاتھوں کو چھونا (۱)۔

3. Touching the hands of Ghair-Mahram (1) from opposite sex without any barrier.

۴۔ کسی کے شرمگاہ کو ہتھیلی یا انگلیوں کے پوروں سے چھونا۔

4. To touch the private part of someone with the palm or fingertips.
