One day, Abraham woke up and asked his wife Hajar to get her son and prepare for a long journey. In a few days Abraham started out with his wife Hajar and their son Ishmael. The child was still nursing and not yet weaned. Abraham walked through cultivated land, desert, and mountains until he reached the desert of the Arabian Peninsula and came to an uncultivated valley having no fruit, no trees, no food, no water. The valley had no sign of life. After Abraham had helped his wife and child to dismount, he left them with a small amount of food and water which was hardly enough for 2 days. He turned around and walked away. He wife hurried after him asking: "Where are you going Abrahim, leaving us in this barren valley?" Abraham did not answer her, but continued walking. She repeated what she had said, but he remained silent. Finally she understood that he was not acting on his own initiative. she realized that Allah had commanded him to do this. She asked him : "Did Allah command you to do so?" He replied: "Yes." Then his great wife said: "We are not going to be lost, since Allah Who has commanded you is with us." Abraham invoked Almighty Allah thus:

"我们的主啊!我已将我的一部分后裔安置在一个没有庄稼的山谷里,靠近你神圣的殿(克尔白天房),我们的主啊,为的是让他们谨守拜功。求你使人们的心向着他们,并赐给他们各样果实,使他们感恩。我们的主啊!你确实知道我们所隐藏的和我们所显露的。天地间的任何事物都瞒不过真主。"(14:37-38)

"O Our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley with no cultivation, by Your Sacred House (the Ka'ba at Mecca); in order, O our Lord, that they may offer prayers perfectly (Iqamat as salat) so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and O Allah provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks. O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah." (Ch 14:37-38)

伊本·阿拔斯传述：“第一个使用腰带的女人是易卜拉欣的妻子哈哲尔（易斯玛仪的母亲）。她使用腰带，是为了在拖着腰带走路时抹去自己的足迹，以躲避撒拉。易卜拉欣带着她和她正在哺乳的儿子易斯玛仪，来到天房附近的一棵树下，地点在清真寺最高处的赞则姆泉边。那些日子里，麦加没有人烟，也没有水。他让她们母子坐在那里，在她们身边放了一个装着些椰枣的皮囊，还有一个装着少量水的小水袋，然后转身回家。易斯玛仪的母亲跟在他身后，说道：”

Ibn Abbas narrated: "The first lady to use a girdle was the mother of Ishmael. She used a girdle so that she might hide her tracks from Sarah (by dragging it). Abraham brought her and her son Ishmael while she was suckling him to a place near the Kaba under a tree on the spot of ZamZam at the highest place in the mosque. During those days there was nobody in Mecca, nor was there any water so he made them sit over there and placed near them a leather bag containing some dates and a small water skin containing some water and set out homeward. Ishmael's mother followed him saying:

"易卜拉欣啊！你要去哪里？你把我们留在这个山谷里，这里没有可以相伴的人，也没有任何可以享用的东西？"她向他重复了许多次，但他没有回头看她。于是她问道："这是安拉命令你这样做的吗？"他说：

"O Abraham! Where are you going, leaving us in this valley where there is no person whose company we may enjoy, nor is there anything to enjoy?" she repeated that to him many times, but he did not look back at her. Then she asked him : "Has Allah ordered you to do so?" He said:

"是的。"她随后说："那么祂不会弃我们于不顾。"说完便回去了，而易卜拉欣继续前行。到了他们看不见他的萨尼雅，他面向天房，双手举起，祈求真主，说了以下的祷词：

"Yes." She then said: "Then He will not neglect us," and returned while Abraham proceeded onwards. On reaching the Thaniya where they could not see him, he faced the Kaba and raising both hands, invoked Allah saying the following prayers:

"主啊！我已将我的一部分后裔安置在没有庄稼的山谷里，靠近你的圣殿（麦加的天房），主啊，好让他们谨守拜功。求你使人们中的一些人的心倾向他们，并以果实供养他们，好使他们感谢。"（第14章第37节）

"O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Your Sacred House (Kaba at Mecca) in order, O our Lord that they may offer prayer perfectly. So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and O Allah provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks." (Ch 14:37)

Ibn Abbas's narration continued; "Ishmael's mother went on suckling Ishmael and drinking from the water (she had) When the water in the water skin had been used up, she became thirsty and her child also became thirsty, She started looking at him (Ishmael) tossing in agony. She left him, for she could not endure looking at him, and found that the mountain of As-Safa was the nearest mountain to her on that land. she too on it and started looking at the valley keenly so that she might see somebody, but she could not see anybody. Then she descended for As Safa and when she reached the valley, she tucked up her robe and ran in the valley like a person in distress and trouble till she crossed the valley and reached the mountain of Al Marwa. There she stood and started looking expecting to see somebody, but she could not see anybody. She repeated that running between Safa And Marwa seven times."

先知穆罕默德ﷺ说:"这就是萨义(朝觐仪式中在萨法与麦尔沃之间往返奔走)之习俗的源头。她走到麦尔沃(最后一次)时,听到了一个声音,她让自己安静下来,专心倾听。她又听到了那个声音,便说:'无论你是谁!你让我听到了你的声音,你能帮助我吗?'看哪!她看见一位天使在则姆则姆泉的地方,用他的脚跟(或翅膀)挖地,直到水从那里涌出。她开始用手在泉水周围围出一个类似水池的东西,这样做着,并用双手把水装进她的水囊,而水仍在不断涌出,她也舀起了一些水。"先知ﷺ又说:"愿安拉怜悯易卜拉欣的妻子(易司玛仪的母亲)!若她任由则姆则姆泉流淌而不加控制,或者若她没有从那水中舀取来装满水囊,则姆则姆将会是一条在地面上流淌的溪流。"

The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: "This is the source of the tradition of the Sa'y (rituals of the hajj, pilgrimage) the going of people between them (As-Safa and Al-Marwa). When she reached Al Marwa (for the last time) she heard a voice and she asked herself to be quiet and listened attentively. She heard the voice again and said: "O whoever you maybe! You have made me hear your voice; have you got something to help me?" And behold! She saw an angel at the place of Zam zam, digging the earth with his heel (or his wing) till water flowed from that place. She started to make something like a basin around it, using her hand in this way, and started filling her water skin with water with her hands and the water was flowing out water she had scooped some of it." The Prophet (pbuh) added: "May Allah bestow mercy on Ishmael's mother! Had she let the zam-zam flow without trying to control it, or had she not scooped from that water to fill her water skin, Zam zam would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth."

先知ﷺ接着说:"然后她喝了水,并哺育了她的孩子。天使对她说:'不要害怕被遗弃,因为这里将是安拉的圣殿,由这个男孩和他的父亲建造,安拉从不遗弃祂的子民。'当时的天房(克尔白)位于一处高地上,像一座小山丘,每当山洪涌来,水便从它的右侧和左侧流过。"她就这样生活着,直到一些来自朱尔胡姆部落的人,或朱尔胡姆的一个家族,经过她和她的孩子身边,他们(朱尔胡姆人)正沿着卡达之路而来。他们在麦加的低处停下,看见一只鸟,它习惯于在水的上空盘旋而不离开。他们说:"这只鸟一定是在水的上空飞翔,然而我们知道这山谷里并没有水。"他们派出一两名使者,使者发现了水源,回来告知他们有水。于是他们都朝水源走去。易卜拉欣的妻子坐在水源附近。他们问她:"你允许我们在你这里住下吗?"她回答:"可以,但你们无权拥有这水。"他们同意了。易卜拉欣的妻子对这一切感到欣慰,因为她向来喜欢与人相处,于是他们在那里定居下来,后来又派人去接他们的家眷,家眷们前来与他们同住,于是一些家族便在那里永久定居下来。这个孩子(易司马仪)在他们中间长大,学会了阿拉伯语,(他的品德)使他们在他成长的过程中爱戴并钦佩他。当他到达青春期时,他们为他娶了他们族中的一名女子。

The Prophet (pbuh) continued: "Then she drank water and suckled her child. The angel said to her: "Don't be afraid of being neglected, for this is the House of Allah which will be built by this boy and his father, and Allah never neglects His people." The House (Kaba) at that time was on a high place resembling a hillock, and when torrents came, they flowed to its right and left. "She lived in that way till some people from the tribe of Jurhum or a family from Jurhum passed by her and her child as they (the Jurhum people) were coming through the way of Kada. they landed in the lower part of Mecca where they saw a bird that had the habit of flying around water and not leaving it. they said: "this bird must be flying around water, though we know that there is no water in this valley." They sent one or two messengers who discovered the source of water and returned to inform them of the water. So they all came towards the water. Ishmael's mother was sitting near the water. They asked her: "Do you allow us to stay with you?" She replied: "Yes, but you will have no right to possess the water." They agreed to that. Ishmael's mother was pleased with the whole situation, as she used to love to enjoy the company of the people, so they settled there, and later on they sent for their families who came and settled with them so that some families became permanent residents there. The child (Ishmael) grew up and learned Arabic from them and (his virtues) caused them to love and admire him as he grew up and when he reached the age of puberty they made him marry a woman from amongst them."

先知(愿主福安之)continued:"伊斯玛仪的母亲去世后,易卜拉欣在伊斯玛仪结婚后来看望他之前留下的家人,但他没有见到伊斯玛仪。他问伊斯玛仪的妻子关于伊斯玛仪的情况,她回答说:'他出去找生计了。'然后他问她他们的生活方式和状况,她回答说:'我们过着困苦的生活;我们生活在艰难和贫困之中。'她向他诉苦。他说:'你丈夫回来时,替我向他问好,并告诉他更换门槛。'伊斯玛仪回来时,似乎感觉到了什么异样,于是问他的妻子:'有人来看过你吗?'她回答说:'是的,一个某某模样的老人来了,问起你,我告诉了他,他又问起我们的生活状况,我告诉他我们过着艰难和贫困的日子。'伊斯玛仪说:'他有没有给你什么建议?'她说:'有的,他让我向你问好,并告诉你更换你家门的门槛。'伊斯玛仪说:'那是我的父亲,他命令我与你离婚。回你的娘家去吧。'于是,伊斯玛仪与她离了婚,并从他们(朱尔胡姆部落)中另娶了一位妇人。"

The Prophet (pbuh) continued: "After Ishmael's mother had died, Abraham came after Ishmael's marriage in order to see his family that he had left before but he did not find Ishmael there. When he asked Ishmael's wife about him, she replied: "He has gone in search of livelihood." Then he asked her about their way of living and their condition, and she replied, "We are living in misery; we are living in hardship and destitution," complaining to him. He said: "When your husband returns, convey my salutations to him and tell him to change the threshold of the gate (of his house)." When Ishmael came, he seemed to have felt something unusual, so he asked his wife: "Has anyone visited you?" she replied, "Yes, an old man of such and such description came and asked me about you and I informed him and he asked about our state of living and I told him that we were living in a hardship and poverty." On that Ishmael said: "Did he advise you anything?" She said: "Yes he told me to convey his salutation to you and to tell you to change the threshold of your gate." Ishmael said: "It was my father and he has ordered me to divorce you. Go back to your family." So, Ishmael divorced her and married another woman from among them (Jurhum).

然后,易卜拉欣离开他们一段时间,时长由安拉决定,之后他再次前来探望,却没有见到伊斯玛仪。于是他来到伊斯玛仪的妻子那里,向她询问伊斯玛仪的情况。她说:"他出去找我们的生计了。"易卜拉欣问她:"你们过得怎么样?"他问的是他们的口粮和生活状况。她回答说:"我们过得富足,生活宽裕(我们样样不缺)。"然后她感谢安拉。易卜拉欣说:"你们吃的是什么食物?"她说:

"Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allah wished and called on them again but did not find Ishmael. So he came to Ishmael's wife and asked her about Ishmael. She said: 'he has gone in sof our livelihood.' Abraham asked her; 'how are you getting on?' asking her about their sustenance and living. she replied: 'we are prosperous and well off (we have everything in abundance).' then she thanked Allah. Abraham said: 'What kind of food do you eat?' she said:

"肉。"他说："你们喝什么？"她说："水。"他说："主啊！求你赐福给他们的肉和水。"先知（愿主福安之）补充说："那时他们没有谷物，如果他们有谷物，他也会祈求真主赐福于谷物。如果有人的全部给养只有这两样，他的健康和性情会受到严重影响，除非他住在麦加。"先知（愿主福安之）接着说："然后易卜拉欣对以斯玛仪的妻子说：'当你的丈夫回来时，代我向他问候，并告诉他要守护好他门的门槛。'以斯玛仪回来后问他的妻子：'有人来看过你吗？'她回答说：'有，一位相貌英俊的老人来过。'于是她称赞了他，并补充说：'他问起你，我告诉他我们一切都好。'以斯玛仪问她：'他有没有给你什么嘱咐？'她说：'有，他让我代他向你问候，并吩咐你要守护好你门的门槛。'于是以斯玛仪说：'那是我的父亲，而你就是门的门槛。他命令我留你在身边。'之后，易卜拉欣离开他们一段时间，时间长短由真主决定，随后又去拜访他们。他看见以斯玛仪在赞姿姆泉附近的一棵树下削磨他的箭。当他看见易卜拉欣时，便起身欢迎他（他们互相问候，就像父亲与儿子、或儿子与父亲之间那样）。易卜拉欣说：'哦，以斯玛仪！真主给我下达了一项命令。'以斯玛仪说："

'meat.' he said: 'what do you drink?' she said: 'water.' he said: 'O Allah! bless their meat and water."" The Prophet (pbuh) added: "At that time they did not have grain, and if they had grain he would have also invoked Allah to bless it. If somebody has only these two things as his sustenance, his health and disposition will be badly affected unless he lives in Mecca." The Prophet (pbuh) continued: "Then Abraham said to Ishmael's wife: 'When your husband comes give my regards to him and tell him that he should keep firm the threshold of his gate.' When Ishmael came back he asked his wife, 'did anyone call no you?' she replied: 'yes, a good looking old man came to me,' so she praised him and added: 'He asked about you and I informed him that we were in a good condition.' Ishmael asked her:' did he give you any piece of advice?' she said; 'yes, he told me to give his regards to you and ordered that you should keep firm the threshold of your gate.' on that Ishmael said: 'It was my father, and you are the threshold of the gate. He has ordered me to keep you with me.' Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allah wished and called on them afterwards. He saw Ishmael under a tree near Zam Zam, sharpening his arrows. When he saw Abraham, he rose up to welcome him (and they greeted each other as a father does with his son or a son does with his father). Abraham said: 'O Ishmael! Allah has give me an order.' Ishmael said:

"按你的主所命令你的去做。"易卜拉欣问道："你会帮助我吗？"易司马仪说："我会帮助你。"易卜拉欣说："安拉命令我在这里建造一座房子。"他指着一个比周围土地高的小丘。

'Do what your Lord has ordered you to do.' Abraham asked:'Will you help me?' Ishmael said: 'I will help you.' Abraham said: 'Allah has ordered me to build a house here,' pointing to a hillock higher than the land surrounding it.

易卜拉欣·本·阿拔斯传述了一个略有不同的版本:"易卜拉欣与他的妻子发生了分歧(因为她嫉妒易斯玛仪的母亲哈哲尔),于是他带着易斯玛仪和他的母亲离开了。他们带着一个盛有少量水的水囊。易斯玛仪的母亲常常从水囊中喝水,以便为她的孩子增加乳汁。易卜拉欣到达麦加后,让她坐在一棵树下,之后便返回了家。易斯玛仪的母亲跟随他,当他们到达Kada时,她从后面呼唤他:'易卜拉欣啊!你要把我们留给谁?'他回答说:'(我把你们留给)安拉的照料。'她说:'我满足于与安拉同在。'她回到自己的地方,开始从水囊中喝水,她的乳汁为她的孩子增多了。"

Ibn Abbas narrated a slightly different version: "When Abraham had differences with his wife (because of her jealousy of Hajar, Ishmael's mother), he took Ishmael and his mother and went away. They had a water skin with them containing some water. Ishmael's mother used to drink water from the water skin so that her milk would increase for her child. When Abraham reached Mecca, he made her sit under a tree and afterwards returned home. Ishmael's mother followed him and when they reached Kada, she called him from behind: 'O Abraham! To whom are you leaving us?' He replied: '(I am leaving you) to Allah's care.' she said: 'I am satisfied to be with Allah.' She returned to her place and started drinking water from the water skin and her milk increased for her child.

当水用尽时,她自言自语道:"我还是去看看,或许能看到有人。"她登上了萨法山,向四周张望,希望能看到什么人,但却徒劳无功。

"When the water had all been used up, she said to herself: 'I had better go and look so that I may see somebody.' she ascended As-Safa mountain and looked hoping to see somebody but in vain.

当她下到山谷时，她奔跑直至抵达麦尔沃山。她在两座山之间来回奔跑了许多次。然后她对自己说："我还是去看看孩子的情况吧。"她走过去，发现孩子已奄奄一息，快要死去。她不忍看着孩子死去，便对自己说："如果我去看看，或许能找到什么人。"她走上萨法山，张望了很久，却找不到一个人。于是她在萨法与麦尔沃之间跑完了七个来回。她又对自己说："我还是回去看看孩子的情况吧。"就在这时，她忽然听到一个声音，便对那陌生的声音说："如果你能提供帮助，就救救我们吧。"哎呀！那发出声音的正是加百列。

When she came down to the valley, she ran till she reached Al Marwa Mountain. She ran to and for (between the two mountains) many times. Then she said to herself; 'I had better go and see the state of the child.' she went and found it in a state of one on the point of dying. She could not endure to watch it dying and said to herself: 'If I go and look I may find somebody.' she went and ascended al-Safa mountain and looked for a long while but could not find anybody. Thus she completed seven rounds of running between As-Safa and Al-Marwa. Again she said to herself: 'I had better go back and see the state of the child.' but suddenly she heard a voice, and she said to that strange voice. 'help us if you can offer any help.' lo! it was Gabriel (who had made the voice)

吉卜利勒用脚跟这样敲击大地（伊本·阿拔斯为了说明，用脚跟敲击了地面），于是水涌了出来。易卜拉欣的妻子惊讶不已，开始挖掘。"阿布·卡西姆，先知ﷺ说："如果她任由水流（不加干预，让水自然流淌），水就会在地表流动。"

Gabriel hit the earth with his heel like this (Ibn Abbas hit the earth with his heel to illustrate it), and so the water gushed out. Ishmael's mother was astonished and started digging." Abu Al Qasim, the Prophet (pbuh) said: "If she had left the water, (flow naturally, without her intervention, ) it would have been flowing on the surface of the earth."

伊本·阿拔斯继续叙述说："易卜拉欣的妻子（易斯玛仪的母亲）开始饮用这水，她的奶水也为她的孩子而增多。之后，一些胡尔胡姆部落的人路过山谷底部时看见了一些飞鸟，这让他们感到惊讶。他们说：'鸟只会在有水的地方出现。'于是他们派出一名使者去搜寻，使者找到了水源，回来把此事告诉了他们。然后他们都来到她那里，说：'易斯玛仪的母亲啊！你是否允许我们与你同住（或在你身边居住）？'于是他们就在那里住了下来。"

Ibn Abbas continued narrating: "Ishmael's mother started drinking from the water, and her milk increased for her child. Afterwards some people of the tribe of Hurhum saw some birds while passing through the bottom of the valley and that astonished them. They said: "birds can only be found at a place where there is water." They sent a messenger who searched the place and found the water and returned to inform them about it. Then they all went to her and said: "O Ishmael's mother! Will you allow us to be with you (or dwell with you)?" Then they stayed there.

后来，她的儿子到了青春期，娶了她们族中的一位女子。之后，易卜拉欣心中生出一个念头，并将此事告诉了他的妻子（萨拉）。"我想去探望我留在麦加的家人。"他到了那里，向以斯马仪的妻子问安，并问道："以斯马仪在哪里？"她回答："他出去打猎了。"易卜拉欣对她说："等他回来时，告诉他把门槛换一换。"以斯马仪回来后，她把这事告诉了他，于是以斯马仪对她说："你就是那门槛，回你的娘家去吧（你们离婚了）。" 又过了一段时间，易卜拉欣再次想去探望他留在麦加的家人，并将此意向告诉了他的妻子（萨拉）。易卜拉欣来到以斯马仪的家，问道："以斯马仪在哪里？"以斯马仪的妻子回答："他出去打猎了。"她接着说："您要不要留下来，吃点东西，喝点水？"易卜拉欣问："你们的食物是什么？你们的饮料是什么？"她回答："我们的食物是肉，饮料是水。"他说："主啊！求你赐福他们的食物和饮料。"艾布·嘉西姆（先知）ﷺ说："因为易卜拉欣的祈祷，麦加有了福泽。"

"Later on her boy reached the age of puberty and married a lady from them. Then an idea occurred to Abraham, which he disclosed to his wife (sarah). 'I want to call on my dependants I left at Mecca.' When he went there he greeted Ishmael's wife and said: 'where is Ishmael?' She replied: 'He has gone out hunting.' Abraham said to her: 'When he comes, tell him to change the threshold of his gate.' When Ishmael came she told him the same and whereupon Ishmael said to her: 'you are the threshold so go to your family (you are divorced).' "Again Abraham thought of visiting his dependents whom he had left at Mecca, and told his wife (Sarah) of his intentions. Abraham came to Ishmael's house and asked: 'Where is Ishmael?' Ishmael's wife replied: 'He has gone out hunting,' and added: 'will you stay for some time and have something to eat and drink?' Abraham said: 'what is your food and what is your drink?' she replied: 'our food is meat and our drink is water.' he replied: 'O Allah! Bless their meals and their drink.' Abu Al Qasim (the Prophet)(pbuh) said: "Because of Abraham's invocation there are blessings in Mecca."

伊本·阿拔斯继续说道："易卜拉欣又一次想去探望他留在麦加的家人，于是他把自己的决定告诉了妻子（莎拉）。他去到宰穆宰穆泉后面，找到了伊斯玛仪，他正在修补自己的箭。他说：'伊斯玛仪啊，你的主命令我为祂建造一座房子。'伊斯玛仪说：'服从你主的命令吧。'易卜拉欣说：'真主也命令我，要你在此事上帮助我。'伊斯玛仪说：'那么我就去做。'于是两人都在说："

Ibn Abbas continued: "Once more Abraham thought of visiting his family he had left at Mecca and he told his wife (Sarah) of his decision. HE went and found Ishmael behind the Zam-zam well, mending his arrows. He said: 'O Ishmael, your Lord has ordered me to build a house for Him.' Ishmael said: 'Obey the order of your Lord.' Abraham said: 'Allah has also ordered me that you should help me therein.' Ishmael said: 'Then I will do so.' So both of them were saying:

"主啊！求你接受我们的这份工作，你确是全聆的，确是全知的。"（2:127）

"O our Lord! Accept this service of us, verily, You are the All Hearer, the All Knower." (Ch 2:127)

www.islambasics.com When the building became high and the old man (Abraham) could no longer lift the stones to such a high position, he stood over the stone of Al Maqam and Ishmael carried on handing him the stones and both of them were saying:

“主啊！求你接受我们的这番行为，你确是全聆听的，全知道的。”

"O our Lord! Accept this service of us, verily You are the All Hearer, the All Knower.""

安拉至大告诉我们易卜拉欣遭受的考验，涉及他心爱的儿子。

Allah the Almighty told us of Abraham's affliction with his beloved son:

他在被从火中救出后说：

"And he said after his rescue from the fire:

"我确实要去见我的主，他必将引导我。我的主啊！求你赐我一个善良的子嗣。" 于是我们给他报喜，说他将有一个温和忍耐的儿子。当那孩子长到能与他同行的年纪时，他说："我的儿啊！我在梦中看见我宰你，你看你以为怎样？"他说："父亲啊！你奉命做什么，就做什么吧。真主意欲的话，你必会发现我是忍耐的人。"当他们二人都顺服真主，他把儿子按倒在额上（或额的一侧，以便宰杀），我们便呼唤他："易卜拉欣啊！你已经实现了那个梦。"我们确实这样报酬行善的人。这确实是明显的考验。我们用一只大牲畜赎回了他的儿子，并为他留下了美好的纪念。

'Verily! I am going to my Lord. He will guide me! My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." SO We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. And when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what do you think!Ý" "O my father! Do that which you are commanded InshAllah (if Allah wills), you shall find me of the patient." Then when they had both submitted themselves to the Will of Allah and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); and We called out to him: "O Abraham! You have fulfilled the dream (vision!" Verily! Thus do Wereward those who perform good deeds, totally for Allah's sake only. Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial and We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (a ram;) and We left for him ( a goodly remembrance)

在后世的各代人中，（他们将会）说：“愿易卜拉欣平安！”这样，我确实报酬行善的人。他确实是我的信仰者中的一位仆人。（古兰经 37:99-111）

among generations (to come) in later times. "Salamun (peace) be upon Abraham!" Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsineen (good doers). Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. (Ch 37:99-111 Quran)

过了一段时间。有一天，易卜拉欣坐在自己的帐篷外，想着他的儿子伊斯玛仪，以及安拉的牺牲。他的心中充满了对安拉无数恩典的敬畏与爱。一滴大大的泪水从他眼中落下，让他想起了伊斯玛仪。

Time passed. One day Abraham was sitting outside his tent thinking of his son Ishmael and Allah's sacrifice. His heart was filled with awe and love for Allah for His countless blessings. A big tear dropped from his eyes and reminded him of Ishmael.

与此同时，三位天使降临到大地上：吉卜利、伊斯拉非勒和米迦勒。他们化作人形，向易卜拉欣致以问候。易卜拉欣起身迎接他们，把他们请进自己的帐篷，以为他们是陌生的客人。他让他们落座，并确保他们感到舒适，然后告辞去见自己的家人。

In the meantime, three angels descended to the earth; Gabriel, Israphael, and Michael. They came in human shapes and saluted Abraham. Abraham arose and welcomed them. He took them inside his tent thinking they were strangers and guests. He seated them and made sure that they were comfortable, then excused himself to go to his people.

他的妻子莎拉在他进来时站了起来。她已经年老,头发花白。亚伯拉罕对她说:"家里有三位陌生人。""他们是谁?"她问。"我一个也不认识,"他回答说。"我们有什么食物?"他问。"半只羊,"她answered道,"半只羊!宰一头肥嫩的小牛给他们吃吧;他们是陌生人,是客人。"他离开时吩咐道。

His wife Sarah arose when he entered. She had become old and white haired. Abraham said to her: "We have three strangers in the house." "Who are they?" she asked. "I do not know any of them," he answered. "What food have we got?" He asked. Half a sheep." she replied, "Half a sheep! Slaughter a fat calf for them; they are strangers and guests." he ordered while leaving.

仆人烤好并端上了一头小牛。易卜拉欣邀请天使们用餐，他自己先开始吃，以鼓励他们。他继续吃，但当他瞥向客人，想确认他们是否在吃时，发现他们没有一个人碰过食物。他对他们说："你们不吃吗？"他又接着吃，可当他再次看向他们时，发现他们仍然没有吃。他们的手没有伸向食物。他开始害怕他们了。

The servants roasted and served a calf. Abraham invited the angels to eat and he started eating so as to encourage them. He continued, but when he glanced at his guests to assure they were eating, he noticed that none of them had touched the food. He said to the them: "Are you not going to eat?" He resumed eating, but when he glanced at them again he found that they were still not eating. Their hands did not reach out for the food. He began to fear them.

亚伯拉罕的恐惧越来越深。然而，天使们读出了他内心的想法，其中一位说道："不要害怕。"亚伯拉罕抬起头回答道："我确实心生恐惧。我请你们吃东西，你们却不伸手去吃。你们是想要加害于我吗？"其中一位天使微笑着说："我们不吃东西。我们是真主的天使。"随后，其中一位天使转向他的妻子，向她传达了关于以撒（易司哈格）的喜讯。

Abraham's fears increased. The angels, however were reading his inner thoughts and one of them said: "Do not fear." Abraham raised his head and replied: "Indeed I am in fear. I have asked you to eat food but you do not stretch out your hands to eat. Do you intend me evil?" One of the angels smiled and said: "We do not eat. We are Allah's angels." One of them then turned towards his wife and conveyed the glad tidings about Isaac (Ishaaq).

全能的真主启示道：

Almighty Allah revealed:

{而我的使者们确已带着喜讯来到易卜拉欣那里。他们说:"愿你平安!"他回答:"愿你们平安!"他很快便拿一只烤好的牛犊款待他们。但他看见他们的手没有伸向食物,便对他们心生疑惧,对他们感到恐惧。他们说:"不要害怕,我们是奉派去惩罚鲁特的族人的。"他的妻子站在那里,她笑了(或因为使者没有吃她的食物,或因为为鲁特族人的毁灭而高兴)。但我把以撒的喜讯告诉了她,以撒之后又有雅各布。}

"Verily! There came Our Messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said: "Salaam (greetings or peace)!" he answered: "Salaam (greetings or peace)!" and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. But, when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lot." And his wife was standing there and she laughed (either, because the Messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lot). But We gave her glad tidings of Isaac, and after him of Jacob.

她惊讶地说:"哎呀,我这个老太婆了,还能生育吗?我的丈夫也是老人了。这真是件奇怪的事!"他们说:"你对安拉的命令感到惊讶吗?愿安拉的慈悯和祝福降临你们这家人!他确实是至赞的,至尊的。"(CH 11:69-73)

She said (in astonishment): "Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!" They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you, O the family (of Abraham). Surely, He (Allah) is All praiseworthy, All-Glorious." (CH 11:69-73).
