Perbuatan-perbuatan yang disebutkan di atas termasuk Fardhu Al-Kifaayah.(2)

Mandikan jenazah tiga kali: kali pertama dengan air dan daun bidara, kali kedua hanya dengan air, dan kali ketiga dengan kapur barus. Disunnahkan untuk menutupi jenazah dengan kain, meletakkannya di tempat yang tinggi, dan melakukan mandi (ghusl) jenazah secara tertutup.

Wash the corpse three time; fist time with berry leave, second time with water only and third time with camphor. It is Sunnah to cover the dead-body with cloth, put it on a high place and perform the Ghusl in privacy.

Disunnahkan mengafani jenazah laki-laki dengan tiga lapis kain, dan jenazah perempuan dengan lima lapis kain: kain sarung, kerudung, baju kurung, dan dua lembar kain.

It is Sunnah to shroud man’s corpse in three cloths and woman’s body in five cloths; lion-clothes, headband, shirt and two sheets.

Kuburkan jenazah setidaknya di dalam liang kubur yang dapat mencegah bau menyebar ke sekitarnya dan melindungi jasad dari binatang buas. Hukumnya wajib (wajib) menguburkan jenazah dengan posisi menghadap ke arah kiblat.

Setelah itu, buka kain kafan dari wajah dan palingkan wajahnya ke arah kiblat dengan meletakkan pipinya di atas tanah. Kemudian tutuplah kubur dengan jerami, lumpur, atau papan. Setelah pemakaman selesai, panjatkanlah doa untuk ampunan bagi almarhum.

Jika seorang bayi lahir sebelum genap enam bulan kehamilan, tetapi bayi itu menangis ketika dilahirkan, atau bayi itu lahir setelah 120 hari kehamilan, maka bayi tersebut harus dimakamkan dengan tata cara yang biasa: bayi dimandikan, dikafani, dan dishalatkan.

If a child is born before completing six months of pregnancy, but it cries when it is born or the child is born after 120 days of pregnancy, the child should be buried through normal procedure; give Ghusl to the child, shroud the corpse and perform Salaah.
