সালাতে তেরোটি বাধ্যতামূলক কাজ রয়েছে। সেগুলো নিম্নরূপ:

There are thirteen compulsory acts in Salaah. They are as follows:

১. সালাতের শুরুতে "আল্লাহু আকবার" বলার সময় সালাতের নিয়ত করা

1. To make the intention of Salaah when saying Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

২. সক্ষম হলে ফরজ সালাতে সোজা হয়ে দাঁড়ানো।

2. To stand upright in Fardh Salaah, if capable

৩. সালাতের শুরুতে আল্লাহু আকবার বলা

3. To say Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

৪. সূরা আল-ফাতিহা তিলাওয়াত করা

4. To recite Al-Faatihah

৫. শান্তভাবে ও ধীরস্থিরভাবে রুকূ' করা

5. To make Ruku’ calmly and unhurriedly

৬. রুকূ' থেকে সোজা হয়ে দাঁড়ানো

6. To stand up erect after Ruku’

৭। দুটি সিজদা করা

7. To make two Sajdaah

৮. দুই সিজদার মাঝে বসা

8. To sit between two Sajdaah

৯. সালাতের শেষে বসা

9. To sit at the end of Salaah

১০। শেষ বৈঠকে তাশাহহুদ পাঠ করা

10. To read Tashahhud in the final sitting

১১. শেষ বৈঠকে দরূদ পাঠ করা

11. To read Durood in the final sitting

১২. সালাতের প্রতিটি অংশ যথাযথ ক্রমানুসারে আদায় করা

12. To perform every part of Salaah in proper order

১৩. প্রথম সালাম দিয়ে সালাত শেষ করা

13. To end Salaah by making first Salaam

১. সালাত নির্ধারণ করে নিয়ত করা, এবং যদি তা ফরজ হয় তবে ফরজের নিয়তও করা।

1. To define Salaah while intending and make the intention of Fardh as well, if it is a Fardh.

২. সালাত নির্ধারণ করে নিয়্যত করা এবং ছুটে গেলে তার কাযা আদায় করা, যদি তা এমন নফলের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয় যা নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে বা কোনো বিশেষ কারণে আদায় করা হয়।

2. To define Salaah while intending and make Qazaa of it when missed, if it is amongst such Nawaafil which is performed at an appointed time or for a particular reason (2)

৩. শুধু নিয়্যত করে নফল সালাত শুরু করা, যদি সেটি সাধারণ নফল হয়।

3. To make only intention of Salaah, if it is a general Nafl

১. সঠিক ক্রম বজায় রাখা

1. To maintain correct sequence

২. একটি আয়াতের পর আরেকটি আয়াত কোনো বিলম্ব ছাড়াই তিলাওয়াত করা।

2. To recite one Aayah after another without any delay

৩. তাশদীদযুক্ত প্রতিটি অক্ষর সঠিকভাবে উচ্চারণ করা।

3. To pronounce correctly every letter which has a Tashdeed upon it

৪. এমন কোনো ভুল যেন না হয় যা অর্থ পরিবর্তন করে দেয়

4. To not make such mistake which changes the meaning

৫. এমনভাবে তিলাওয়াত করা যাতে নিজের তিলাওয়াত নিজে শুনতে পাওয়া যায়

5. To recite in a manner that one can hear one’s recitation

৬. কুরআনের মহিমান্বিত বাণীর বাইরে কোনো শব্দ যোগ না করা।

6. To not add any word which is beside the words of the Glorious Qur’aan

১. দুই হাত হাঁটুর উপর রেখে রুকু করা

1. To bow down by placing both the hands on the knees

২. পিঠ সোজা ও মাথা একই সমান্তরালে রেখে কোমর ঝুঁকিয়ে রুকূ করা।

2. To bow down by keeping back and head straight and at the same level

১. সাতটি অঙ্গের সাহায্যে সিজদা করা (৩)

1. To make Sajdah with the help of seven parts of the body (3)

২. কপাল অনাবৃত রাখা

2. To keep the forehead disclosed

৩। সিজদার সময় নড়াচড়া করে এমন কোনো জিনিসের উপর সিজদা না করা।

3. To not make Sajdah on such a thing that moves while prostrating
