ওযুর সহীহ হওয়ার জন্য পাঁচটি শর্ত রয়েছে। শর্তগুলো নিম্নরূপ:

There are five conditions for the validity of Wudhoo. The conditions are as follows:

১. মুসলিম হওয়া

1. To be a Muslim

২. সহীহ হওয়া

2. To be sound

ওযুতে ধোয়া হয় শরীরের যে অঙ্গগুলো, সেগুলোর উপর এমন কোনো বস্তু থাকা উচিত নয় যা অঙ্গের পুরো অংশে পানি পৌঁছাতে বাধা দেয়, যেমন মোম, চর্বি এবং চোখের কোণে জমে থাকা ময়লা।

3. The parts of body which are washed in Wudhoo must be free from any object that prevents water from reaching the entire parts such as candle, fat and discharge collecting in eye corners.

৪. ওযূর কোনো ফরযকে সুন্নাত বলে গণ্য না করা

4. To not regard any Fardh of Wudhoo as Sunnah

ওযূতে ছয়টি কাজ রয়েছে যেগুলো অনুসরণ করা আবশ্যক। সেগুলো নিম্নরূপ:

There are six practices in Wudhoo which are necessary to follow. The practices are as follows:

১. মুখ ধোয়ার আগে ওযূর নিয়ত করা। ২. কপালের চুলের গোড়া থেকে থুতনির নিচ পর্যন্ত এবং এক কানের লতি থেকে অন্য কানের লতি পর্যন্ত পুরো মুখ ধোয়া।

1. To make the intention of Wudhoo before washing the face 2. To wash the whole face from the hair of the forehead to below the chin and from one earlobe to another.

৩. উভয় হাত কনুইসহ ধোয়া, এবং লম্বা নখের নিচে ঢাকা আঙুলের প্রান্তসমূহও ধোয়া।

3. To wash both the hands including the elbows and the fingertips covered by the long nails.

৪. মাথার কিছু অংশে মাসাহ করা (ফরয), যদিও সেখানে কোনো চুল না থাকে। শুধু মাথা থেকে ঝুলে থাকা লম্বা চুলে মাসাহ করা যথেষ্ট হবে না।

4. To make Masah of some part of head, even if there is no hair. It will not suffice to make only Masah of long hair follows from head.

৫. উভয় পা ধোয়া, গোড়ালি ও গিঁট সহ এবং পায়ের গোড়ালিও।

5. To wash both the feet including the ankles and the heals.

৬. উল্লিখিত চার অঙ্গ ধোয়ার ক্রম যথাযথভাবে বজায় রাখা।

6. To maintain proper sequence in washing the above-mentioned four parts.

ওযূতে অনেকগুলো সুন্নাত আমল রয়েছে। তার মধ্যে কয়েকটি নিম্নরূপ:

There are many Sunan acts in Wudhoo. Few of them are as follows:

১. বিসমিল্লাহ পাঠ করা

1. To recite Bismillah

২. পাত্রে হাত ঢোকানোর আগে কব্জি পর্যন্ত দুই হাত ধুয়ে নেওয়া।

2. To wash both the hands up to the wrists before putting them into the container

৩. মিসওয়াক ব্যবহার করা

3. To use Miswaak

৪. কুলি করা

4. To gargle

৫. নাক ঝাড়া (ইস্তিনশাক)

5. To rinse the nose

৬. পুরো মাথা মাসাহ করা

6. To make Masah of the complete head

৭. উভয় কানের বাহ্যিক ও অভ্যন্তরীণ অংশ মাসেহ করা।

7. To make Masah of the both outer and inter parts of ears

৮। হাত ও পায়ের আঙুলের মধ্যে খিলাল করা

8. To make Khilaal of the fingers of hands and feet

৯. ঘন দাড়ি খিলাল করা

9. To make Khilaal of the thick beard

১০. আংটি নাড়ানো

10. To shake the ring

১১. প্রথমে ডান হাত ধোয়া

11. To wash the right hand first

১২. প্রতিটি কাজ তিনবার করে পুনরাবৃত্তি করা

12. To repeat every action three times

১৩. আগের অংশ শুকানোর আগেই পরের অংশ ধোয়া

13. To wash the next part before the previous one gets dry

১৫. অঙ্গসমূহ ধোয়ার সময় সেগুলো ঘষে নেওয়া

15. To rub the parts while washing

১৬. ওযু সম্পন্ন করার পর দু'আ পাঠ করা

16. To read the Du’aa after completing the Wudhoo

নিম্নোক্ত চারটি কাজ ওযূতে মাকরূহ:

The following four acts are Makhrooh in Wudhoo:

১. প্রয়োজনের চেয়ে বেশি পানি ব্যবহার করা

1. To use water more than necessity

২. বিনা বৈধ কারণে অন্যের কাছে ওযু করার জন্য সাহায্য চাওয়া

2. To seek someone’s assistance for making Wudhoo without any valid reason

৩. নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্গসমূহ তিনবারের বেশি ধোয়া

3. To wash the specific parts more than thrice

৪. শরীর শুষ্ক করা

4. To dry out the body

ওযূ ভঙ্গকারী কাজগুলো চার প্রকারের।

Acts that can invalidate one’s Wudhoo are of four types.

১. গুপ্তাঙ্গ থেকে যা কিছু বের হয় ২. পান করা, অসুস্থতা, অজ্ঞান হওয়া বা এমনভাবে ঘুমানোর কারণে জ্ঞান হারানো যে নিতম্ব (বসার স্থান) থেকে কিছু বের হয়ে যাওয়ার অনুভূতি থাকে না।

1. Whatever comes out from any of the private parts 2. Losing sense by drinking, sickness, fainting or sleeping in a way that the rumps.

যমিনের সাথে সংযুক্ত নয়।

are not attached with the ground.

৩. গায়রে-মাহরাম (১) বিপরীত লিঙ্গের কারও হাত কোনো আড়াল ছাড়া স্পর্শ করা।

3. Touching the hands of Ghair-Mahram (1) from opposite sex without any barrier.

৪. কারও গোপনাঙ্গ হাতের তালু বা আঙুলের ডগা দিয়ে স্পর্শ করা।

4. To touch the private part of someone with the palm or fingertips.
