১. শৌচাগারে বাম পা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করা এবং ডান পা দিয়ে বের হওয়া।
1. To enter the toilet with the left foot and come out with the right one.
২. প্রবেশের আগে নিম্নোক্ত দু'আটি পাঠ করা।
2. To recite the following Du’aa before entering:
বিসমিল্লাহ, আউযু বিল্লাহি মিনাল-খুবসি ওয়াল-খাবায়িস (উচ্চারণ: বিসমিল্লাহ, আউযুবিল্লাহি মিনাল-খুবসি ওয়াল-খাবায়ীস)
بسم ال أعوذ بال من الخبث و الخبائث (Transliteration: Bismillah, Aau’zubillahi Minal-Khubsi Wal-Khabaayees)
আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, আমি আল্লাহর কাছে অভিশপ্ত শয়তানের অনিষ্ট থেকে আশ্রয় চাই, পুরুষ ও নারী উভয় প্রকার অনিষ্টকারী শয়তান থেকে।
(Translation: In the name of Allaah, I seek refuge with Allaah from the male and female evil devils.)
পায়খানা থেকে বের হওয়ার সময় এই দু'আ পড়বে:
When coming out from the toilet read this Du’aa:
আলহামদুলিল্লাহিল্লাযী আযহাবা আন্নিল-আযা ওয়া আ'ফানী (অনুবাদ: সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমার থেকে কষ্ট দূর করেছেন এবং আমাকে সুস্থতা দান করেছেন।)
الحمد ال الذي اذهب عنى الذى و عافاني (Transliteration: Alhamdulillahillazee Azhaba Annil-Azaa Wa Aafaanee)
(অনুবাদ: সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমার থেকে ক্ষতিকর বস্তু দূর করেছেন এবং আমাকে স্বস্তি দান করেছেন।)
(Translation: All praise is due to Allaah who has taken away from me harmful substances and granted me relief.)
৩. (শৌচাগার পাওয়া না গেলে) এমন নির্জন স্থানে প্রাকৃতিক প্রয়োজন সারা, যেখানে কেউ দেখতে না পায় এবং মলের শব্দ ও দুর্গন্ধ কেউ শুনতে বা শুঁকতে না পারে।
3. To relieve (when a toilet is not available) in privacy where one can not be seen nor can the sound and oduor of excrement be heard and smelled.
৪. ইস্তিঞ্জা করার জন্য বাম হাত ব্যবহার করা এবং শৌচকর্মের আগে ও পরে তা ধুয়ে নেওয়া।
4. To use the left hand for making Istinjaa and wash it before and after relieving.
৫. প্রস্রাব ও মলের ছিটা থেকে নিজেকে রক্ষা করা।
5. To safeguard oneself from the droplets of urine and stool.
