مطلب: ہمارے لیے ایک قریبی، نگہبان اور مددگار ساتھی بننا۔ الولایہ کی یہ قسم8

Meaning: Be a close, watchful companion and ally to us. This type of al-Walaayah8

(صحبت یا ولایت) کی دو قسمیں ہیں، ایک عام قسم کی ولایت، اور ایک خاص قسم کی۔ خاص قسم صرف مومنین کے لیے مخصوص ہے جیسا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے:

(companionship or guardianship) is of two types, a general type of guardianship, and a specific type. The specific type is particular to the believers only as Allaah () says:

"اللہ مومنوں کا ولی اور نگہبان ہے۔ وہ انہیں تاریکیوں سے نکال کر روشنی کی طرف لاتا ہے۔ جبکہ جو لوگ کفر کرتے ہیں، ان کے ولی اور نگہبان ان کے جھوٹے معبود ہیں۔ وہ انہیں روشنی سے نکال کر تاریکیوں میں لے جاتے ہیں۔ وہی آگ والے ہیں، وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔" [سورۃ البقرہ، 2:257] لہٰذا آپ اللہ سے اس خاص قسم کی ولایت، نگہبانی اور صحبت کا سوال کریں جس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے اس شخص کی حفاظت شامل ہے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ عطا فرماتا ہے۔ اس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے اس شخص کو ان کاموں میں کامیابی عطا کرنا بھی شامل ہے جن سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے اور جن سے وہ راضی ہوتا ہے۔

“Allaah is the
Ally, Guardian of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. In addition, those who disbelieve, their allies, guardians, are their false gods. They take them out of light into darkness. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.” [Soorah al-Baqarah, 2:257] So you ask Allaah for this special type of alliance, guardianship, and companionship which includes His protection of the one to whom Allaah () gives it to. It also includes Allaah granting success to him or her in following what He loves and is pleased with.

جہاں تک عمومی نوعیت کی سرپرستی کا تعلق ہے، تو اس میں ہر شخص شامل ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر شخص کی نگہبانی نہایت باریک بینی سے فرما رہا ہے جیسا کہ وہ فرماتا ہے، "...پھر جب تم میں سے کسی کو موت آ جاتی ہے تو ہمارے فرشتے اس کی روح قبض کر لیتے ہیں، اور وہ اپنے فرائض میں کوتاہی نہیں کرتے۔" [سورۃ الانعام، 6:61] یہ بات ہر ایک کے لیے عام ہے۔ پھر وہ اگلی آیت میں فرماتا ہے:

As for the general type of guardianship, it includes everyone. Allaah is carefully watching over every person as He says, “…until when death comes to one of you, Our Messengers (angels) take him, and they never fail in their duties.” [Soorah al-An’aam, 6:61] This is general for everyone. Then He () says in the next verse:

"پھر وہ اللہ کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے جو ان کا حقیقی رب ہے۔ بے شک فیصلہ کرنے کا اختیار اسی کا ہے اور وہ حساب لینے میں نہایت تیز ہے۔" [سورۃ الانعام، 6:62] تاہم، جب ہم کہتے ہیں، "اے اللہ، مجھے ان لوگوں کے ساتھ ایک ساتھی کے طور پر نواز دے جنہیں تو نے نوازا ہے،" تو ہماری مراد وہ مخصوص قسم کی یاری، سرپرستی اور رفاقت ہے، اور جیسا کہ کہا گیا ہے، اس میں حفاظت اور ان کاموں کی پیروی میں کامیابی شامل ہے جن سے اللہ محبت کرتا ہے اور جن سے وہ راضی ہوتا ہے۔

“Then they are returned to Allaah, their true Lord. Unquestionably, the Judgment is His, and He is the swiftest in taking to account.” [Soorah al-An’aam, 6:62] However, when we say, “O Allaah, care for me as a companion with those You have cared for,” we want the specific type of alliance, guardianship, and companionship and, as has been said, it includes protection and the success in following what Allaah loves and is pleased with.
