[Colophon of SH:] Completed on Saturday, the twentieth of the holy month of Ramadan 850 [December 9, 1446], by Maḥmūd ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar al- Shishīnī, a Shāfiʿī in law, and an inadequate, unworthy, and supplicant servant of God needful of the mercy of his great and mighty Lord.
