コーランに科学的事実が含まれていることを偶然に帰すことは、常識にも真の科学的態度にも反します。

To attribute the presence of scientific facts in the Qur’an to coincidence would be against common sense and a true scientific approach.

実に、クルアーンの節が科学的に正確であることは、クルアーンの明白な宣言を裏付けています。

Indeed the scientific accuracy of the Qur'anic verses confirm the Qur'an's open declaration.

「やがて我らは、彼らに我らの印を、(地平線の)遠くにおいて示すであろう」

“Soon will We show them Our Signs in the (furthest)

「地平の果てにおいても、また彼ら自身の内にあっても、この啓示が真理であることが彼らにとって明らかになるまで、我々は徴(しるし)を示し続ける。あなたの主がすべてのものを証人として見ておられることは、十分ではないのか」[アル＝クルアーン 41:53] クルアーンは、この宇宙の創造について熟考するよう、すべての人間に呼びかけている。その節は次のとおりである。

regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth it is not enough that Thy Lord doth witness all things?” [Al-Qur’an 41:53] The Qur’an invites all humans to reflect on the Creation of this universe in the verse:

「見よ！ 天と地の創造、そして夜と昼の交替には、理解力のある人々にとっての確かな徴がある。」[アル・クルアーン 3:190] クルアーンに含まれる科学的な証拠は、その神的起源を明白に示している。千四百年前に、これほど深遠な科学的事実を含んだ書物を人間が生み出せたはずはない。

“Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of Night and Day – there are indeed Signs for men of understanding .” [Al-Qur’an 3:190] The scientific evidences of the Qur’an clearly prove its Divine origin. No human could have produced a book, fourteen hundred years ago, that would contain such profound scientific facts.

しかしながら、クルアーンは科学の書ではなく、「印（アーヤー）」の書です。これらの印は、人間に地上での存在の目的を悟らせ、自然と調和して生きるよう呼びかけています。クルアーンは、宇宙の創造者であり維持者であるアッラーからのメッセージにほかなりません。アーダム、ムーサー、イーサーから、ムハンマド ﷺ に至るまで、すべての預言者が説いた唯一神への信仰という同じメッセージを含んでいます。

The Qur’an, however, is not a book of Science but a book of ‘Signs’. These signs invite Man to realize the purpose of his existence on earth, and to live in harmony with Nature. The Qur’an is truly a message from Allah, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It contains the same Message of the Oneness of God, that was preached by all prophets, right from Adam, Moses, Jesus to Muhammad (peace be upon them).

コーランと現代科学というテーマについては、すでに詳細な書物が数多く著されており、この分野の研究は現在も続けられています。インシャーアッラー、この研究が人類をアッラーの御言葉へとより近づける助けとなることでしょう。本冊子では、コーランに含まれる科学的事実のうちわずかなものだけを取り上げています。このテーマを十分に論じ尽くしたとは到底申し上げられません。

Several detailed tomes have been written on the subject of Qur’an and modern science and further research in this field is on. Inshallah, this research will help mankind to come closer to the Word of the Almighty. This booklet contains only a few of the scientific facts present in the Qur’an. I cannot claim to have done full justice to the subject.

テジャセン教授は、クルアーンに述べられた科学的な一つの「しるし」だけを根拠にイスラームを受け入れました。ある人は、クルアーンの神的起源を確信するために十のしるしを必要とするかもしれず、百のしるしを必要とする人もいるでしょう。千のしるしを示されてもなお真理を受け入れようとしない人もいます。クルアーンは、そのような閉ざされた心のあり方を次の節で非難しています。

Prof. Tejasen accepted Islam on the strength of just one scientific ‘sign’ mentioned in the Qu’ran. Some people may require ten signs while some may require hundred signs to be convinced about the Divine origin of the Qur’an. Some would be unwilling to accept the Truth even after being shown a thousand signs. The Qur’an condemns such a closed mentality in the verse:

「聾で、口がきけず、盲目である。彼らは(正しい道へ)戻らないのである。」[アル＝クルアーン 2:18] クルアーンは、個人と社会のための完全な生き方の指針を含んでいます。アルハムドゥリッラー(アッラーに讃えあれ)、クルアーンに示された生き方は、現代人が無知ゆえに生み出した「主義」よりもはるかに優れています。創造主ご自身以上に、より良い導きを与えられる者があるでしょうか。

“Deaf, dumb and blind, They will not return (To the path).” [Al-Qur’an 2:18] The Qur’an contains a complete code of life for the individual and society. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), the Qur’anic way of life is far superior to the ‘isms’ that modern man has invented out of sheer ignorance. Who can give better guidance than the Creator Himself?

この拙い試みがアッラーに受け入れられますように。私はアッラーの慈悲と導きを願っています（アーミーン）。

I pray that this humble effort is accepted by Allah, to whom I pray for mercy and guidance (Aameen).
