जब किसी कौम में उनके नबियों के गुज़र जाने के बाद लोग शैतान के क़दमों पर चलने लगते हैं, दीन में बदलाव कर देते हैं, रिसालत (पैग़ाम) को विकृत कर देते हैं और अपनी अमानत को छोड़ देते हैं, तो वे गुमराह हो जाते हैं, अल्लाह के सिवा दूसरों की इबादत करने लगते हैं, और उनके लिए हिदायत पाने, नजात पाने और अमानत उठाने का कोई रास्ता बाक़ी नहीं रहता, सिवाय इसके कि अल्लाह की तरफ़ से एक नया पैग़ाम लेकर कोई नया नबी भेजा जाए। तो फिर नबी मुहम्मद ﷺ की उम्मत के लिए कौन-सा रास्ता खुला रह जाता है, जब अमानत खो चुकी हो और उन लोगों के तरीक़ों (सुनन) की पैरवी की जा रही हो जो उनसे पहले गुज़रे, यानी गुमराही और भटकाव की पैरवी, और यह जानने के बाद कि इस पैग़ाम के बाद कोई नया पैग़ाम नहीं आएगा और इस नबी ﷺ के बाद कोई नया नबी नहीं होगा?

Nations and people after the passing of their Prophets begin to follow the footsteps of Shaytaan, they change the Deen, distort the Risaalah (message) and let go of their Amaanah. They therefore go astray and worship other than Allah and no way is left for them for guidance, being saved and to carry the Amaanah (trust) unless a new Nabi is sent with a new message from Allah. So what is the path left open to the Ummah of the Nabi Muhammad (saw) if the Amaanah has been lost and the Sunan (ways) of those who came before them have been followed in terms of being led astray and following misguidance? And this is after knowing for certain that there will be no new message after this message and no new Prophet after this Prophet (saw)?

वह किला जो इस उम्मत की रक्षा करने, उसके संदेश की हिफ़ाज़त करने और उसके अमानत उठाने के सिलसिले में कभी ओझल नहीं होता, वह अल्लाह की मदद और उसकी वह ज़मानत है कि यह संदेश कभी खोया नहीं जाएगा और कभी भुलाया नहीं जाएगा, चाहे मुसलमान इससे कितने भी दूर क्यों न चले जाएँ और चाहे इसे विकृत करने की कोशिश करने वाले कितनी भी कोशिशें क्यों न करें।

The fortress that does not disappear in respect to safeguarding this Ummah and her message, and her carrying of the Amaanah, is the help of Allah and His guarantee that this message will not be lost and will never be forgotten irrespective of how much the Muslims have gone away from it and regardless of the efforts of those who wish to distort it.

अल्लाह (سبحانه وتعالى) ने फ़रमाया:

Allah (swt) said:

इस प्रकार रिसालत (संदेश) बाकी रहेगी और जारी रहेगी, और ईमान और हिदायत का रास्ता कभी मिटेगा या बुझेगा नहीं। यह संदेश एक ऐसा प्रकाश बना रहेगा जो हर अंधकार को दूर करता है, और क़यामत के दिन तक यह रास्ता स्पष्ट रहेगा।

As such the Risaalah (message) will remain and continue to go and the path to Imaan and guidance will never disappear or be extinguished. The message will remain a light that scatters all darkness and the path will remain clear until the Day of Judgement.

यदि यह संदेश क़यामत तक सुरक्षित और संरक्षित रहने वाला है, तो अगर लोग इसे संभालने में लापरवाही करें या इनकार कर दें, तो फिर इसे कौन आगे पहुँचाएगा? पिछली उम्मतों के बारे में देखें तो, यदि वे भटक जाती थीं, तो अल्लाह (SWT) उनकी ओर एक रसूल और एक संदेश भेजता था। तो फिर अगर लोग भटक जाएँ और कोई रसूल न हो, तो इस्लाम का संदेश कौन आगे पहुँचाएगा?

In the case where the message will continue, be preserved and safeguarded until the Day of Judgement, then who will carry it if the people neglect to or deny it? In regards to the previous nations, if they were to go astray, Allah (swt) would send a Messenger and a message to them, so who will carry the message of Islaam if the people were to go astray and if there was no Messenger?

जिस प्रकार अल्लाह (swt) ने इस संदेश को खोने या विकृत होने से सुरक्षित रखने की गारंटी दी है, उसी प्रकार उसने अपनी दया से यह भी सुनिश्चित किया है कि उम्मत गुमराह नहीं होगी और उसका समूचा भाग दावत (आह्वान) का कार्य छोड़ेगा नहीं, चाहे कितनी ही अधिक संख्या में लोग पथभ्रष्ट हों या विकृति करें और इनकार करें। अतः जिस प्रकार पूरा रिसालत (संदेश) सुरक्षित और संरक्षित है, वैसे ही उम्मत के भीतर ऐसे लोग सदैव रहेंगे जो इसे उसकी पूर्णता के साथ आगे ले जाएँगे।

The answer to this is: Just as Allah (swt) has guaranteed the protection of this message from being lost or distorted He (swt) by His mercy has also guaranteed that the Ummah will not go astray and that all of it will not relinquish the carrying of the Da’wah regardless of the great number of those who are misguided or those who distort and deny. So just as the Risaalah as a whole is protected and safeguarded there will remain within the Ummah those who will carry it in its entirety.

रसूल ﷺ ने फ़रमाया:

The Messenger (saw) said:

(सर्वसम्मत) और यह मुस्लिम की लफ़्ज़ी रिवायत है।

(Agreed upon and this is the Lafzh (worded version) of Muslim.

तो चाहे उम्मत इस्लाम से कितनी भी दूर भटक जाए, कितनी भी गुमराह हो जाए या शैतान के कदमों पर चल पड़े, और चाहे वह कितनी भी अंधकार में खींची चली जाए, उम्मत में हमेशा एक ऐसा ताइफ़ा (समूह) बाक़ी रहेगा जो किताब और सुन्नत को मज़बूती से थामे रहेगा, और उन्हीं से तथा अम्बिया (नबियों) के मार्गदर्शन से रौशन होगा। वे अपना वह काम जारी रखेंगे जो अल्लाह (swt) ने...

So however much the Ummah strays away from Islaam, however misguided she becomes or follows the steps of Shaytaan, and however much she is pulled into darkness, there will always remain in the Ummah a Taa’ifah (group) that holds fast to the Kitaab and the Sunnah, being illuminated by them and by the guidance of the Anibyaa’ (prophets). They will undertake their work that Allah (swt)

...उन्हें सौंप दिया है, और वे अंबिया (नबियों) की विरासत को ढोएँगे, वह जमाअत (तायफ़ा) जिसे अल्लाह ने उसकी अमानत (ज़िम्मेदारी) की रक्षा करने और उसे उठाने का दायित्व सौंपा है। यह अमानत ला इलाहा इल्लल्लाह का मामला है, और वे इसे अपनाएँगे और उसे उठाए रखेंगे, यहाँ तक कि अल्लाह (सुब्हानहु व तआला) अपना आदेश ले आए और अपना काम पूरा कर दे।

has passed on to them and they will carry the inheritance of the Anbiyaa’ as the Taa’ifah which Allah has passed on the responsibility of safeguarding its Amaanah (trust) and carrying it. This trust (Amaanah) is the issue of Laa Ilaaha Illallah and they will adopt it and carry it until Allah (swt) brings about His command and accomplishes His affair.

अल्लाह (سبحانه وتعالى) ने फ़रमाया:

Allah (swt) said:

इस प्रकार इस्लामी उम्मत, यानी मुसलमानों की उम्मत, चाहे वह कितनी भी अवज्ञा करे या गुमराह हो जाए, उस जमाअत (समूह) के अस्तित्व के कारण जो अंबिया (नबियों) का काम अंजाम देती है, मानवजाति के लिए निकाली गई सर्वश्रेष्ठ उम्मत (ख़ैरा उम्मत) का प्रतिनिधित्व करती रहेगी। यह इसलिए है क्योंकि वह ऐसी उम्मत है जो मा'रूफ़ (भलाई) का आदेश देती है, मुनकर (बुराई) से रोकती है और अल्लाह पर ईमान रखती है। यह उम्मत उस ज़िम्मेदारी के साथ बाक़ी रहेगी जो अल्लाह (SWT) ने उसे सौंपी है, और मानवजाति की ओर से अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी को निभाती रहेगी।

In this the way the Islamic Ummah, the Ummah of the Muslims, regardless of how much she disobeys or is led astray, will due to the existence of the Taa’ifah (group) that undertakes the work of the Anbiyaa’, represent the Khaira (best) Ummah raised up for mankind. This is because she is an Ummah that orders the Ma’rouf, forbids the Munkar and believes in Allah. The Ummah will remain charged with the responsibility that Allah (swt) has entrusted her with and to perform her responsibility on behalf of humankind.

अल्लाह (سبحانه وتعالى) ने फ़रमाया:

Allah (swt) said:

हर मुकल्लफ़ (शरई तौर पर ज़िम्मेदार व्यक्ति) का कर्तव्य है कि वह इस अमानत को समझने के लिए प्रयास और परिश्रम करे, ताकि वह इसे उठा सके और इसके स्पष्ट मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ सके। वह अपने ईमान, अपने कर्मों और इसके साथ मिलकर किए गए संघर्ष के द्वारा इस जमात (समूह) का हिस्सा बनने का प्रयास करे, ताकि धरती पर अल्लाह तआला का शासन स्थापित हो सके।

It is a duty upon every Mukallaf (legally responsible person) to strive and exert himself to understand this Amaanah so that he can carry it and proceed upon its clear path. He would strive to be a part of this Taa’ifah (group) with his Imaan, actions and striving along with it in order to establish the rule of Allah Ta’Aalaa upon the earth.
