Existem três objetivos principais do ensino escolar:

There are three main goals of school teaching:

i) Construir a personalidade, o intelecto e a disposição islâmicos, de modo a completar esse processo ao final da etapa de ensino escolar.

i) Building the Islamic personality, intellect and disposition, so as to complete this process by the end of the school teaching stage.

ii) Ensinar ao estudante as habilidades e os conhecimentos de que ele/ela precisa para interagir com o seu meio, o que inclui ferramentas, invenções e campos, por exemplo, lidar com aparelhos elétricos e eletrônicos, a agricultura e as ferramentas industriais, etc.

ii) Teaching the student what he/she requires of skills and knowledge to interact with his/her environment which includes tools, inventions and fields e.g. dealing with electrical and electronic apparatus, farming and industrial tools, etc.

iii) Preparação dos alunos para a entrada na universidade, ensinando-lhes as ciências primárias pré-requisitas, sejam elas culturais, como a língua árabe, a Jurisprudência, o Tafsir e o Hadith, ou empíricas, como a Matemática, a Química e a Física, entre outras.

iii) Preparing students for university entry stage by teaching them the prerequisite primary sciences, whether cultural such as the Arabic language, Jurisprudence, Tafseer and Hadith or Empirical such as Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, etc
