Se dois hadiths entram em conflito e ambos são usados como evidência para duas decisões opostas, então um hadith não será escolhido em detrimento do outro apenas porque um está no Bukhari ou no Muslim e o outro não. Deve haver uma prova clara para preferir um hadith ao outro. Ibn Humám escreve em Fath al-Bari: “Um hadith não será preferido ao outro porque é um hadith do Bukhari.”42 Que falha há no outro hadith por Imam Bukhari não tê-lo incluído em seu livro?

If two hadith conflict with each other and both are being used as evidence for two opposing rulings, then one hadith will not be chosen over the other because one is in Bukhari or Muslim and the other not. There must be clear proof for choosing one hadith over another.
