Тема опровержения западного метода мышления — это тема того, как Запад порождает мысли, независимо от того, какими бы ни были эти мысли. Сюда входит вопрос о том, как и откуда Запад черпает свою мысль, то есть вопрос о методе, применяемом для достижения любого знания. Сюда же относятся источник и зависимость мысли. Как уже разъяснялось ранее, Запад представляет себя первопроходцем рациональных и научных методов. Таким образом, его метод мышления основан на этих двух элементах: рационализме и науке.
