هناك ثلاثة عشر فرضًا في الصلاة، وهي كما يلي:

There are thirteen compulsory acts in Salaah. They are as follows:

1. أن يَنْوِيَ الصلاةَ عندَ قولِ «اللهُ أكبرُ» في أوَّلِ الصلاةِ

1. To make the intention of Salaah when saying Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

٢۔ فرض نماز میں سیدھا کھڑا ہونا، اگر (کھڑے ہونے کی) استطاعت ہو۔

2. To stand upright in Fardh Salaah, if capable

٣۔ نماز کے آغاز میں اللہ أکبر کہنا

3. To say Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

٤۔ قراءةُ الفاتحة

4. To recite Al-Faatihah

5. أن يركع بطمأنينة ومن غير عجلة

5. To make Ruku’ calmly and unhurriedly

6. الاعتدال بعد الرکوع

6. To stand up erect after Ruku’

٧۔ سجدتان کرنا

7. To make two Sajdaah

الجلوس بين السجدتين

8. To sit between two Sajdaah

الجلوس في آخر الصلاة

9. To sit at the end of Salaah

١٠۔ آخری قعدے میں تشہد پڑھنا

10. To read Tashahhud in the final sitting

١١۔ آخری قعدہ میں درود پڑھنا

11. To read Durood in the final sitting

١٢۔ نماز کے ہر رکن کو اس کی صحیح ترتیب کے ساتھ ادا کرنا

12. To perform every part of Salaah in proper order

13. أن يُنهِي الصلاة بالتسليمة الأولى

13. To end Salaah by making first Salaam

١۔ الصلاة کی تعریف کرتے وقت نیت کرنا، اور اگر وہ فرض ہو تو فرض کی نیت بھی کرنا۔

1. To define Salaah while intending and make the intention of Fardh as well, if it is a Fardh.

2. تعریف الصلاة بالنیّة، والقضاء عنها إذا فاتت، إن كانت من النوافل التي تُؤدّى في وقت معيّن أو لسببٍ مخصوص (2)

2. To define Salaah while intending and make Qazaa of it when missed, if it is amongst such Nawaafil which is performed at an appointed time or for a particular reason (2)

3. أن ينوي الصلاة فقط إذا كانت نافلة مطلقة

3. To make only intention of Salaah, if it is a general Nafl

للحفاظ على التسلسل الصحيح

1. To maintain correct sequence

2. أن يُتلى آيةً بعد آية دون أي تأخير

2. To recite one Aayah after another without any delay

٣۔ ہر اُس حرف کو درست ادا کرنا جس پر تشدید ہو

3. To pronounce correctly every letter which has a Tashdeed upon it

4. ألّا تقع في خطأ يغيّر المعنى

4. To not make such mistake which changes the meaning

5. أن يقرأ بحيث يُسمِع نفسَه قراءتَه

5. To recite in a manner that one can hear one’s recitation

٦۔ القرآنِ الكريم کے الفاظ کے علاوہ کوئی بھی لفظ شامل نہ کرنا

6. To not add any word which is beside the words of the Glorious Qur’aan

الرُّكُوعُ: أن يُمسِك المُصَلِّي رُكبَتَيهِ بيدَيهِ مُنحنِيًا

1. To bow down by placing both the hands on the knees

الرُّكُوعُ: أن يَنْحَنِيَ المُصلّي بظهره وعُنُقه، مع استوائهما وأن يكونا في مستوىً واحد.

2. To bow down by keeping back and head straight and at the same level

1. السجود بمساعدة سبعة أعضاء من الجسم (3)

1. To make Sajdah with the help of seven parts of the body (3)

٢۔ إبقاءُ الجبهةِ مكشوفةً

2. To keep the forehead disclosed

٣۔ ایسی چیز پر سجدہ نہ کرنا جو سجدے کے دوران حرکت کرے

3. To not make Sajdah on such a thing that moves while prostrating
