هناك ستة أمور تجعل الغسل واجبًا. وهذه الأمور كما يلي:

There are six factors that make Ghusl obligatory. The factors are as follows:

١. أن يُدخل حَشفة الذَّكَر في فَرْج الأنثى

1. To get glans (2) of male’s private part into female’s private one

2. إنزال المني

2. To discharge semen

الموت الذي يقع على المسلم الذي لم يُستشهد

3. To occur death to a Muslim who has not been martyred

٤۔ حيض کے دورانیے کا تجربہ کرنا

4. To experience the menstrual course

٥۔ نِفاس کا خون بہنا

5. To flow blood after childbirth

٦۔ وِلادَةُ الطِّفْلِ

6. To give birth to a child

يُعدّ الأمران الآتيان فرضين في الغُسل:

The below mentioned two acts are compulsory in Ghusl:

١. النِّيَّةُ عند غَسْلِ أوَّلِ جُزْءٍ من البَدَنِ

1. To make intention when washing the first part of the body

٢۔ وصولُ الماءِ إلى جميعِ البدنِ وأصولِ الشَّعرِ

2. To let water reach the entire body and the roots of hair

من السنن الكثيرة في الغسل، ومنها ما يلي:

There are many Sunnah acts in Ghusl. Some of them are as follows:

١۔ استنجاء کرنا

1. To make Istinjaa

٢۔ غسل سے پہلے وضو کرنا

2. To perform Wudhoo before taking a bath

3. مسح الجسد

3. To rub the body

٤۔ البدء بالیمین والجانب الأیمن من البدن

4. To begin with the right and side of the body

٥۔ الصبُّ ثلاثَ مرّات

5. To pour water three times

٦۔ أن يُغسل العضو الذي يليه قبل أن يجف العضو السابق

6. To wash the next part of the body before the former gets dry

الشروط التي تُشترط لصحة الوضوء تُشترط لصحة الغسل أيضًا.

The factors that are conditional for the validity of Wudhoo are conditional for the validity of Ghusl as well.

الأفعال التي هي مكروهة في الوضوء مكروهة أيضًا في الغسل.

The acts which are Makrooh in Wudhoo are also Makrooh in Ghusl.
