هناك خمسة شروط لصحة الوضوء. وهذه الشروط هي كما يلي:

There are five conditions for the validity of Wudhoo. The conditions are as follows:

1. أن تكون مسلمًا

1. To be a Muslim

2. أن يكون صحيحاً

2. To be sound

3. يجب أن تكون أجزاء الجسم التي تُغسل في الوضوء خالية من أي شيء يمنع وصول الماء إلى جميع أجزائها، مثل الشمع والدهن والإفرازات المتجمعة في زوايا العين.

3. The parts of body which are washed in Wudhoo must be free from any object that prevents water from reaching the entire parts such as candle, fat and discharge collecting in eye corners.

٤۔ ألّا يُعَدَّ أيُّ فرضٍ من فروض الوضوء سُنّةً

4. To not regard any Fardh of Wudhoo as Sunnah

هناك ستة أمور في الوضوء لا بد من اتباعها، وهي كما يلي:

There are six practices in Wudhoo which are necessary to follow. The practices are as follows:

١. النِّيَّةُ لِلْوُضُوءِ قَبْلَ غَسْلِ الْوَجْهِ۔ ٢. غَسْلُ الْوَجْهِ كُلِّهِ مِنْ مَنْبِتِ شَعْرِ الرَّأْسِ إِلَى مَا تَحْتَ الذَّقَنِ، وَمِنْ شَحْمَةِ أُذُنٍ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ الْأُذُنِ الْأُخْرَى۔

1. To make the intention of Wudhoo before washing the face 2. To wash the whole face from the hair of the forehead to below the chin and from one earlobe to another.

٣۔ اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں سمیت دھونا، اور ان انگلیوں کے سرے بھی جو لمبے ناخنوں سے ڈھکے ہوئے ہوں۔

3. To wash both the hands including the elbows and the fingertips covered by the long nails.

٤۔ مسح بعض الرأس، ولو لم يكن فيه شعر. ولا يكفي مسح الشعر الطويل المتدلي من الرأس وحده.

4. To make Masah of some part of head, even if there is no hair. It will not suffice to make only Masah of long hair follows from head.

٥۔ غسل الرِّجلَين، مع الكعبَين والعَقِبَين.

5. To wash both the feet including the ankles and the heals.

٦۔ مذکورہ چاروں اعضاء کو دھونے میں ترتیب کو برقرار رکھنا۔

6. To maintain proper sequence in washing the above-mentioned four parts.

هناك العديد من سنن الوضوء. من أهمها ما يلي:

There are many Sunan acts in Wudhoo. Few of them are as follows:

١۔ بسم اللہ پڑھنا

1. To recite Bismillah

٢۔ الغسل المرتین (مرتين) للیدین إلى الرسغین قبل إدخالھما فی الإناء

2. To wash both the hands up to the wrists before putting them into the container

٣۔ مسواک استعمال کرنا

3. To use Miswaak

المَضْمَضَة

4. To gargle

5. استنشاق الماء (المضمضة للأنف)

5. To rinse the nose

٦۔ مسحِ جميعِ الرأس

6. To make Masah of the complete head

٧۔ مسح الأذنين من ظاهرهما وباطنهما

7. To make Masah of the both outer and inter parts of ears

٨۔ اصابعِ یدین و رجلین میں خلال کرنا

8. To make Khilaal of the fingers of hands and feet

٩۔ تَخْلِيلُ اللِّحْيَةِ الكَثِيفَةِ

9. To make Khilaal of the thick beard

10. تحريك الخاتم

10. To shake the ring

١١۔ الیمنیٰ (دایاں ہاتھ) پہلے دھونا

11. To wash the right hand first

١٢۔ تکرار کرنا ہر عمل کو تین مرتبہ Note: The rules require Arabic script and natural Arabic phrasing. The correct Arabic would be: ١٢۔ تکرار ہر عمل کو تین مرتبہ

12. To repeat every action three times

١٣۔ اگلے حصے کو پچھلے حصے کے خشک ہونے سے پہلے دھونا

13. To wash the next part before the previous one gets dry

١٥۔ الدَّلْكُ في أثناءِ الغَسْلِ

15. To rub the parts while washing

١٦۔ الدعاء بعد الفراغ من الوضوء

16. To read the Du’aa after completing the Wudhoo

الأفعال الأربعة التالية مكروهة في الوضوء:

The following four acts are Makhrooh in Wudhoo:

١۔ الإسراف في استعمال الماء فوق الحاجة

1. To use water more than necessity

2. طلبُ المعونةِ من الغيرِ على الوضوءِ من غيرِ عذرٍ معتبرٍ

2. To seek someone’s assistance for making Wudhoo without any valid reason

3. غَسْلُ الأَعْضَاءِ الْمَخْصُوصَةِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ مَرَّاتٍ

3. To wash the specific parts more than thrice

٤۔ تجفيفُ الجسم

4. To dry out the body

الأمورُ الناقضةُ للوضوءِ أربعةُ أنواعٍ۔

Acts that can invalidate one’s Wudhoo are of four types.

1. ما يخرج من أي من السبيلين 2. زوال العقل بالشرب أو المرض أو الإغماء أو النوم على وجه يزول معه الإحساس بالمقعدة

1. Whatever comes out from any of the private parts 2. Losing sense by drinking, sickness, fainting or sleeping in a way that the rumps.

لَا تَتَّصِلُ بِالْأَرْضِ

are not attached with the ground.

3. لمس أيدي غير المحارم (1) من الجنس الآخر دون أي حاجز.

3. Touching the hands of Ghair-Mahram (1) from opposite sex without any barrier.

٤۔ شَهْوَةً بِبَطْنِ الْكَفِّ أَوْ رَأْسِ الْأَنَامِلِ لِلشَّخْصِ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ۔

4. To touch the private part of someone with the palm or fingertips.
