No início de seu chamado, o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ convidava ao Islam as pessoas que ele percebia estarem prontas para aceitá-lo, independentemente de sua idade, posição, raça ou origem. Ele ﷺ nunca selecionava pessoas, mas sim convidava as pessoas indiscriminadamente e então percebia a prontidão delas para aceitar o Islam. Dezenas de pessoas creram e abraçaram o Islam.

At the beginning of his call, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) invited to Islam people whom he felt had the readiness to accept it, regardless of their age, position, race, or origin. He (pbuh) never selected people, but rather invited people indiscriminately and then sensed their readiness to accept Islam. Scores of people believed and embraced Islam.

Ele (ﷺ) estava ansioso por educar esses novos muçulmanos e aperfeiçoar o seu conhecimento do Deen, além de lhes ensinar o Alcorão. Ele (ﷺ) formou um grupo a partir dos companheiros, e estes levavam o Da'wah em turnos. O seu número cresceu para mais de quarenta homens e mulheres, que vinham de todas as camadas sociais, embora fossem sobretudo jovens. Entre eles havia pobres e ricos, fracos e fortes.

He (pbuh) was anxious to educate these new Muslims and perfect their knowledge of the Deen, as well as teach them the Qur’an. He (pbuh) formed a group from the companions and they carried the Da’wah in turn. Their number grew to over forty men and women, who came from all walks of life, though they were mostly young men. There were among them the poor and the rich, the weak and the strong.

Após três anos, o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ sentiu-se aliviado e tranquilo quando esses Companheiros amadureceram e quando seus corações e mentes ficaram preenchidos apenas com conceitos islâmicos fundamentados na cultura islâmica. Então ele ﷺ ficou certo de que haviam adquirido uma compreensão profunda do Islam e que suas personalidades tinham alcançado grandes alturas no que diz respeito à crença em Allah (SWT). Só então suas preocupações foram apaziguadas, pois este grupo de muçulmanos tornara-se forte e capaz o suficiente para enfrentar a sociedade; por isso ele ﷺ saiu liderando o seu grupo para confrontar os Quraysh, quando Allah (SWT) lhe ordenou que o fizesse.

After three years, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was relieved and reassured when these Sahabah matured and when their hearts and minds became filled with nothing but Islamic concepts grounded in the Islamic culture. He (pbuh) then became certain that they had acquired a deep understanding of Islam and that their personalities had reached great heights in terms of belief in Allah (swt). Only then were his worries appeased, for this group of Muslims became strong and capable enough to face society, so he (pbuh) came out leading his group to confront Quraysh when Allah (swt) ordered him to do so.
