A hostilidade dos Quraysh para com o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ e os seus Companheiros atingiu um ponto de saturação depois de a tribo de Thaqif, em Ta'if, o ter expulsado com malícia, e quando as tribos de Kinda, Kalb, Banu 'Aamir e Banu Hanifah rejeitaram o seu apelo durante a época do Hajj. Os Quraysh conseguiram aumentar ainda mais o seu isolamento ﷺ, após estes reveses, separando-o a ele e ao seu grupo de qualquer apoio externo. Ele ﷺ e os seus Companheiros, no entanto, permaneceram firmes na sua crença em Allah (SWT) e nunca duvidaram da promessa de Allah de vitória para eles e para o Islã.

The hostility of the Quraysh towards the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and his Sahabah reached a saturation point after the Thaqif tribe in Ta’if maliciously chased him away, and when the tribes of Kinda, Kalb, Banu ‘Aamir and Banu Hanifah rejected his call to them during the Hajj season. The Quraysh managed to increase his (pbuh) isolation further, after these setbacks, separating him and his party from any outside support. He (pbuh) and his Sahabah, however, remained steadfast in their belief in Allah (swt) and never doubted Allah’s I promise of victory to them and to Islam.

O Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ continuou convidando as pessoas ao Islã sempre que possível, e aproximava-se das tribos e oferecia-se a elas, sem se preocupar minimamente com as consequências. Alguns dos desordeiros dos Quraysh tentaram provocá-lo e feri-lo, mas ele ﷺ nunca deixou que isso o afetasse, nem à sua esperança de um futuro melhor. Allah (SWT) enviou-o com a Mensagem do Islã, e ele ﷺ nunca duvidou de que Allah (SWT) o ajudaria e protegeria e asseguraria o estabelecimento da Religião. Ele ﷺ aguardava o socorro de Allah, sendo ao mesmo tempo muito preocupado com o estado da Da'wah.

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) continued inviting people to Islam whenever possible and he approached the tribes and offered himself to them, not worrying in the slightest about the consequences. Some of the louts from the Quraysh attempted to provoke him and hurt him, but he (pbuh) never let this affect him nor his hope of a brighter future. Allah (swt) sent him with the Message of Islam and he never doubted that Allah (swt) would help and protect him and secure the establishment of the Deen. He (pbuh) waited for Allah’s relief, while being very troubled about the state of the Da’wah.

Felizmente, o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ não teve de esperar muito, pois os sinais da vitória logo chegaram de Yathrib (Madinah), na forma de um grupo de al-Khazraj que tinha vindo a Makkah durante a temporada do Hajj, onde o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ os encontrou pela primeira vez e os convidou ao Islam.

Fortunately, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) did not have long to wait, for the signs of victory soon came from Yathrib (Madinah) in the shape of a group from al-Khazraj who had come to Makkah during the Hajj season where the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) met them for the first time and invited them to Islam.

Eles olharam uns para os outros e disseram: "Por Allah, este é justamente o Profeta sobre quem os judeus nos advertiram. Que eles não nos ultrapassem e cheguem até ele antes de nós." Em seguida, aceitaram o seu ensinamento e abraçaram o Islã. Disseram-lhe: "Deixamos o nosso povo (al-Aws e al-Khazraj), pois não há tribos tão divididas pelo ódio e pelo rancor quanto elas. Talvez Allah as una por meio de você; se isso acontecer, nenhum homem será mais poderoso do que você."ﷺ

They looked to each other and said, “By Allah this is the very Prophet of whom the Jews warned us about. Do not let them get to him before us.” Thereupon they accepted his teaching and embraced Islam. They said to him, “We have left our people (al-Aws and al-Khazraj), for no tribes are so divided by hatred and rancor as they. Perhaps Allah will unite them through you, if so, then no man will be mightier then you.”.

Quando retornaram a Yathrib (Madinah), falaram ao seu povo sobre o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ e convidaram-no a abraçar o Islam. Conseguiram abrir os corações e as mentes das pessoas para a nova religião. Cada lar entre os Aws e os Khazraj começou a falar sobre Muhammad ﷺ.

When they returned to Yathrib (Madinah), they told their people about the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and invited them to accept Islam. They managed to open people’s hearts and minds to the new Deen. Every household among the Aws and Khazraj began to talk about Muhammad (pbuh).
