There is no doubt that the prophet-hood of our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is one of two important tasks that the Muslim is carrying to humanity.

Os muçulmanos acreditam que provar a profecia de Muhammad ﷺ é uma das muitas tarefas essenciais de sua religião; portanto, é um dever obrigatório para os muçulmanos apresentar essa evidência e prova.

Muslims believe that to prove the prophet-hood of Muhammad (PBUH) is one of many essential tasks in their religion; therefore, it is a compulsory duty for Muslims to present this evidence and proof.

Existem muitas e variadas maneiras de provar isso, mas a mais importante é a compreensão das profecias dadas pelos profetas anteriores, que anunciam e confirmam a vinda e a autoridade de um profeta final para a humanidade, a fim de restabelecer a religião que Deus Todo-Poderoso aceita até o Dia do Juízo.

There are many and various ways to prove that, but the most important way is by understanding the prophecies given by the previous prophets that prophesize and confirms the arrival and the authority of a final prophet to humanity, in order to re-establish the religion that God Almighty accepts until the Day of Judgment.

A razão pela qual estas profecias são as mais importantes, e pela qual os muçulmanos se preocupam com elas, é que elas existem nos escritos sagrados judaicos e cristãos, e que indicaram a vinda de Muhammad ﷺ há séculos e em várias eras.

The reason that these prophecies are most important, and why Muslims are concerned, is that they exist in the Jewish and Christian sacred writings, and that they indicated the coming of Muhammad (PBUH) centuries ago and in various eras.

Judeus e cristãos reconhecem a existência dessas profecias e afirmam que elas indicam a vinda do "profeta final" ou "grande profeta"; no entanto, insistem que ele é um homem descendente dos filhos de Israel. Os cristãos afirmam que ele é Jesus, filho de Maria, enquanto os judeus ainda o aguardam.

Jews and Christians acknowledge the existence of these prophecies and affirm that they indicate the coming of "the final prophet" or "the great prophet"; however, they still insist that he is a man who is a descendant from the children of Israel. The Christians claim that he is Jesus (PBUH) son of Mary, while the Jews are still expecting him.

Pretendemos aqui provar que ele, o profeta esperado, é Muhammad ﷺ e não qualquer um dos profetas anteriores, que a paz esteja com todos eles.

We aim here to prove that he, the expected prophet, is Muhammad (PBUH) and not any of the previous prophets peace be upon them all.

A respeito dos livros que contêm essas profecias, já explicamos suas condições e credibilidade em outros livros desta série. Ao utilizar esses livros como referência, não é para complementá-los; trata-se apenas de uma tentativa de buscar nas entrelinhas alguns vestígios dos profetas anteriores. Nós, muçulmanos, acreditamos nesses vestígios e não os negamos, pois eles estão de acordo com aquilo em que acreditamos.

Regarding the books that contain these prophecies, we have explained their conditions and credibility in other books of this series, by using these books as a reference, it is not to complement them; however, it is merely an attempt to search between the lines for some traces from the previous prophets. We as Muslims believe in those traces and we do not deny them, because they meet an agreement with what we believe.

O Profeta Muhammad ﷺ nos chamou a atenção para o fato de que estes livros contêm alguma verdade, ele disse:

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought to our attention that these books contain some truth, He said:

{Quando você lhes perguntar sobre qualquer coisa, se disserem a verdade, não a chame de mentira, e quando lhe disserem mentiras, não acredite nelas}. 1

{When you ask them about anything if they tell you the truth do not call it a lie, and when they tell you lies do not believe in it}. 1

Em outras palavras, se os livros anteriores contêm informações que coincidem com os versículos do Sagrado Alcorão e com a tradição do Profeta Muhammad ﷺ, então isso é prova de que são verdadeiros e não foram alterados. "Dizem os descrentes: 'Tu não és um mensageiro.' Dize: 'Basta Allah por testemunha entre mim e vós, e aqueles que possuem o conhecimento do Livro.'" (Al-Ra'd: 43).

In other words, if the previous books contain information, that match verses of the Holy Quran, and the tradition of Muhammad (PBUH), then this is proof that, it is true and has not been altered. “The Unbelievers say: "No apostle art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book.” (Al-Ra'd: 43).

Apesar das alterações feitas na Bíblia Sagrada, ela ainda contém muitas profecias que anunciam a vinda do "Profeta Final". Já se passaram quase 2000 anos desde que Jesus (que a paz esteja com ele) veio a esta terra; contudo, essas profecias não se cumpriram; portanto, perguntamos: quando acontecerá? Afirmar que essas profecias ainda estão por vir, à medida que os anos passam, é diminuir a credibilidade da Bíblia Sagrada aos olhos de seus leitores.

In spite of the alterations made to the Holy Bible, it still contains many prophecies that foretell the arrival of the "Final prophet". It has been almost 2000 years since Jesus (PBUH) came to this earth; yet, these prophecies have not been fulfilled; therefore, we ask when will it be? To claim that these prophecies are still to come, as the years go by, is to reduce the credibility of the Holy Bible to its readers.

Portanto, fazemos um convite sincero e verdadeiro para examinar as profecias da Santa Bíblia e para lê-la novamente com atenção, considerando o surgimento do Islã e do Profeta Muhammad ﷺ, e estamos confiantes de que isso revelará a verdade da crença na profecia de Muhammad ﷺ. Não dizemos isso apenas por dizer, mas é um fato histórico admitido por todos aqueles que estudaram a vida deste profeta.

Therefore, we send an honest true invitation to examine the prophecies in the Holy Bible, and to read it again carefully considering the appearance of Islam and the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and we are confident that this will uncover the truth of the belief of the prophet-hood of Muhammad (PBUH). We do not just simply say that, but it is a historical fact admitted by all those who have studied the life of this prophet.

Hércules, o rei romano, havia reconhecido a profecia do profeta Muhammad ﷺ. Quando recebeu uma carta do profeta Muhammad ﷺ, convidando-o a abraçar o Islã, enviou um mensageiro a Roma para investigar sobre o "Último Profeta". Quando Hércules recebeu a resposta à sua investigação, disse ao seu povo:

Hercules, the Roman king, had acknowledged the prophet-hood of prophet Muhammad (PBUH). When he received a letter from prophet Muhammad (PBUH), inviting him to embrace Islam, then he sent a messenger to Rome inquiring about the "Final Prophet". When Hercules received the response to his inquiry, he said to his people:

"Ó romanos, eu vos pedi que vos reunísseis para uma boa notícia. Recebi uma carta deste homem, convidando-me a abraçar a sua fé, e por Deus testemunho que ele é o profeta que estávamos aguardando, e é aquele mencionado em nossos livros sagrados. Portanto, sigamo-lo e acreditemos em sua mensagem para que sejamos salvos nesta vida e na vida futura."

"O' Romans, I have requested you to gather for good news. I received a letter from this man, inviting me to join his faith, and by God I testify that he is the prophet we've been waiting for, and he is the one mentioned in our holy books, so let us follow him and believe in his message to be saved in our life and the hereafter" .

Hércules disse: "Ó romanos, se buscais o sucesso e a orientação, e que o vosso império se mantenha forte, então deveis acreditar neste profeta ﷺ." Imediatamente, correram para os portões, mas encontraram-nos trancados. Quando Hércules viu isso, ordenou que o povo voltasse e disse: "Eu disse o que disse apenas para testar a vossa fé, e vi o que fizestes." Então, prostraram-se diante dele, satisfeitos.

Hercules said, "O' Romans, if you are seeking success and guidance and for your empire to hold strong, then you should believe in this prophet, so immediately they rushed to the gates but to find the gates locked. When Hercules saw that he commanded the people to return, and then he said, I said what I said only to test your faith, and I saw what you did. Then they prostrated to him with satisfaction". 1

Hércules não cumpriu o seu testemunho e não abraçou o Islã, assim como muitos que conhecem a verdade mas a negam e nunca seguem o seu caminho. O Negus, rei da Abissínia, creu no Profeta ﷺ.

Hercules did not adhere to his testimony and did not embrace Islam, just like many who know the truth but deny it and never follow its path. The Negus king of Abyssinia believed in the prophet (PBUH).

Ele disse aos sacerdotes do seu Reino: "Ó sacerdotes e monges, o que eles (os muçulmanos) dizem sobre o filho de Maria não é mais do que o que vocês dizem. Vocês, mensageiros de Muhammad ﷺ, são bem-vindos aqui, e assim também é ele. Testemunho que ele (Muhammad ﷺ) é o Mensageiro de Deus, e que ele é aquele de quem Jesus anunciou a vinda com boas novas. E se eu não estivesse ocupado com este reino, eu iria ao Profeta ﷺ e carregaria pessoalmente as suas sandálias." 2

He said to the priests of his Kingdom:- "O' you priests and monks, what they say (the Muslims) about the son of Mary is not more than what you say, you messengers of Muhammad are welcomed here and so he is. I bear witness that he (Muhammad) is the messenger of God, and that he is the one Jesus gave glad tidings of his coming. And if I wasn't occupied with this kingdom I would go to the prophet and personally carry his shoes". 2

A reversão de dezenas de cristãos e judeus bem conhecidos para o Islã, como Al-Hassan Bin Ayoub, Zyadah Alnasb Alrasy, o padre Abdul Ahaad Dawood, Ibrahim Khalil, Moris Bokay e muitos outros, confirmou o fato evidente da existência dessas profecias na Bíblia Sagrada.

The reversion of tens of well-known Christians and Jews to Islam such as; Al-Hassan Bin Ayoub, Zyadah Alnasb Alrasy, priest/ Abdul Ahaad Dawood, Ibrahim Khalil, Moris Bokay and many more, assured the glaring fact about the existence of these prophecies in the Holy Bible.

Nesta pesquisa, chamaremos o profeta que há de vir de "o profeta esperado" ou "o messias esperado", seguindo os célebres estudos do Dr. Ahmad Hejazy Al-Saqqa, que pesquisou este assunto de forma admirável, e por ser o termo usado pelos judeus para indicar o profeta prometido.

In this research, we will name the coming prophet as "the expected prophet", or "the expected messiah", following the celebrated studies of Dr. Ahmad Hejazy Al-Saqqa, who has amazingly researched this subject, and because it is the term used by the Jews to indicate the promised prophet.

Peço a Deus Todo-Poderoso que abra nossos corações para conhecer este Profeta (Muhammad ﷺ), que nos conceda a graça de crer nele e que nos inclua entre aqueles que nele crerão no Dia do Juízo. Deus é Todo-Poderoso e capaz de fazer isso acontecer.

I ask God Almighty to open our hearts to get to know this prophet (Muhammad, PBUH), and to bless us with the gift of believing in him, and to be among the people who believe in him on the Day of Judgment, God is Almighty and is capable of making it happen.
