Existem seis fatores que tornam o Ghusl obrigatório. Os fatores são os seguintes:

1. Fazer com que a glande (2) do órgão sexual masculino entre no órgão sexual feminino

1. To get glans (2) of male’s private part into female’s private one

2. Ejacular o sêmen

2. To discharge semen

3. Ocorrência da morte de um muçulmano que não foi martirizado

3. To occur death to a Muslim who has not been martyred

4. Para vivenciar o curso menstrual

4. To experience the menstrual course

5. Sangrar após o parto

5. To flow blood after childbirth

6. Dar à luz uma criança

6. To give birth to a child

As seguintes duas ações são obrigatórias no Ghusl:

1. Fazer a intenção ao lavar a primeira parte do corpo

1. To make intention when washing the first part of the body

Fazer com que a água alcance todo o corpo e as raízes dos cabelos

2. To let water reach the entire body and the roots of hair

Há muitos atos da Sunnah no Ghusl. Alguns deles são os seguintes:

There are many Sunnah acts in Ghusl. Some of them are as follows:

1. Fazer o Istinjaa

2. Realizar o Wudu antes de tomar banho

2. To perform Wudhoo before taking a bath

3. Esfregar o corpo

3. To rub the body

4. Começar pelo lado direito do corpo

4. To begin with the right and side of the body

5. Derramar água três vezes

5. To pour water three times

6. Lavar a parte seguinte do corpo antes que a anterior tenha secado

6. To wash the next part of the body before the former gets dry

Os fatores que são condições para a validade do Wudhu são também condições para a validade do Ghusl.

The factors that are conditional for the validity of Wudhoo are conditional for the validity of Ghusl as well.

Os atos que são Makruh no Wudhu também são Makruh no Ghusl.
