11- Certes, les croyants ne laisseront aucun débiteur parmi eux sans qu'il ne soit pourvu, sur une base juste et raisonnable, en ce qui concerne la rançon ou le prix du sang. 12- Un croyant ne contractera aucune alliance avec le Mawla (esclave affranchi qui maintient sa loyauté ou un client) d'un croyant sans le consentement de ce dernier.

11- Verily, the believers shall not leave any indebted person from among them without him being provided for, on a fair and reasonable basis, in respect to ransom or blood money. 12- A believer shall not enter into alliance with the Mawla (freed slave who maintains loyalty or a client) of a believer without the latter’s consent.

13- Les croyants craignant Dieu se tiennent ensemble contre celui qui se rebelle ou cherche à introduire l'injustice, le crime, l'agression ou la corruption parmi les croyants. Leurs mains sont toutes unies contre lui, même s'il était le fils de l'un d'entre eux.

13- The God-fearing believers stand together against the one who rebels or seeks to insert injustice, crime, aggression or corruption among the believers. Their hands are all united against him, even if he was the son of one of them.

14- Un croyant ne doit pas tuer un autre croyant pour le compte d'un mécréant.

14- A believer shall not kill another believer for the sake of a disbeliever.

15- (Un croyant) ne doit pas soutenir un mécréant contre un croyant.

15- (A believer) shall not support a disbeliever against a believer.

16- La protection d'Allah est unique, et son extension sur le moindre d'entre eux s'applique à tous.

16- The protection of Allah is one and its extension upon the least of them is applied to all of them.

17- Les croyants sont alliés et protecteurs les uns des autres, à l'exclusion des autres peuples.

17- The believers are allies and protectors of one another to the exclusion of the people.

18- Quiconque parmi les Juifs nous suit recevra soutien et assistance. Ils ne seront pas lésés et aucun soutien ne sera apporté à autrui contre eux.

18- Whoever from the Jews follows us; receives support and assistance. They are not wronged and support is not provided to others against them.

19- La paix des croyants est une. Aucune paix n'est conclue par un musulman séparément d'un autre musulman dans le combat dans le sentier d'Allah, si ce n'est sur la base d'une équité et d'une justice mutuelles.

19- The peace of the believers is one. No peace is made by a Muslim separate to another Muslim in the fighting in the way of Allah, except upon the basis of mutual even handedness and justice.

20- En ce qui concerne chaque détachement militaire qui part avec nous, il sera suivi l'un après l'autre.

20- In respect to every military attachment that goes out with us, it will be followed one after the other.

21- Les croyants se vengeront pour le sang de l'un de l'autre [versé] dans le sentier d'Allah.

21- The believers will retaliate for the blood of one another [that is shed] in the way of Allah.

22- Les croyants craignant Dieu sont sur la meilleure et la plus correcte des guidances.

22- The God-fearing believers are upon the best and most correct guidance.

23- Aucun polythéiste ne pourra protéger un bien ou une personne appartenant aux Quraysh ; il ne pourra pas non plus le protéger contre un croyant.

23- No polytheist shall protect a property or person belonging to Quraysh; nor shall he protect him against a believer.

24- Quiconque est établi par preuve comme ayant tué un croyant (sans droit), est passible de la loi du talion, à moins que l'héritier du sang de celui qui a été tué ne se contente du prix du sang.

24- Whomever it has been established by evidence that he has killed a believer (without right), then he is subject to retaliation unless the blood heir of the one killed is satisfied with blood money.

25- Les croyants se dressent tous contre lui et il ne leur est pas permis de ne pas se dresser contre lui.

25- The believers stand against him altogether and it is not permissible for them except to stand against him.

26- Il n'est pas permis à un croyant qui affirme ce qui est énoncé dans ce document et qui croit en Allah et au Jour dernier, de fournir une assistance ou un refuge à un criminel.

26- It is not permissible for a believer who affirms what is stated in this document and believes in Allah and the last day, to provide assistance or shelter to a criminal.

27- Et quiconque l'aide ou lui accorde un refuge, la malédiction et la colère d'Allah seront sur lui au Jour du Jugement. Rien ne sera alors accepté de lui.

27- And whoever helps or shelters him, will have the curse and anger of Allah upon him on the Day of Judgement. Nothing will then be accepted from him.

28- Toute question sur laquelle vous vous disputez doit être rapportée à Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla et à Muhammad ﷺ.

28- Whatever you have differed upon in any matter, then it must be referred to Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla and to Muhammad (peace be upon him).
