ऊपर बताए गए ये कार्य फ़र्ज़ अल-किफ़ाया हैं।(2)

These above-mentioned acts are Fardh Al-Kifaayah.(2)

मृत शरीर को तीन बार धोएँ; पहली बार बेरी के पत्तों से, दूसरी बार केवल पानी से, और तीसरी बार कपूर से। मृत शरीर को कपड़े से ढकना, उसे किसी ऊँची जगह पर रखना, और गुस्ल (स्नान) एकांत में करना सुन्नत है।

Wash the corpse three time; fist time with berry leave, second time with water only and third time with camphor. It is Sunnah to cover the dead-body with cloth, put it on a high place and perform the Ghusl in privacy.

मृतक पुरुष के शव को तीन कपड़ों में और महिला के शव को पाँच कपड़ों में कफ़न देना सुन्नत है; लुंगी-कपड़ा, सिर-पट्टी, कुर्ता और दो चादरें।

It is Sunnah to shroud man’s corpse in three cloths and woman’s body in five cloths; lion-clothes, headband, shirt and two sheets.

शव को कम से कम ऐसी कब्र में दफ़न करना चाहिए जो उसकी दुर्गंध को फैलने से रोके और शव को जंगली जानवरों से बचाए। शव को इस तरह दफ़न करना वाजिब (अनिवार्य) है कि उसका मुख क़िबला की दिशा में हो।

Bury the corpse at least in a grave that can prevent odour from spreading around and protect the body from wild animals. It is Wajib-compulsory to bury the corpse in a manner that it is facing the direction of Qiblah.

मृतक को एक ऐसी कब्र में रखें जो लंबाई और ऊंचाई दोनों में मृतक के बराबर हो।

Put the corpse in a grave which is equal to the demised both in height and length.

इसके बाद कफ़न को चेहरे से हटा दिया जाए और मृतक को क़िबला की ओर मोड़कर गाल को ज़मीन पर रखा जाए। फिर क़ब्र को घास-फूस, मिट्टी या तख़्ते से ढक दिया जाए। जब दफ़न का काम पूरा हो जाए, तो मृतक की मग़फ़िरत के लिए दुआ की जाए।

Thereafter remove the shroud from the face and turn it towards Qiblah placing the cheek on the ground. Then cover the grave with straw, mud, or plank. When the burial is complete, make Du’aa for the forgiveness of deceased.

अगर कोई बच्चा गर्भावस्था के छह महीने पूरे होने से पहले पैदा हो, लेकिन पैदा होते समय रोए, या बच्चा गर्भावस्था के 120 दिन के बाद पैदा हो, तो उस बच्चे को सामान्य तरीके से दफ़नाया जाना चाहिए; बच्चे को ग़ुस्ल दिया जाए, शव को कफ़न पहनाया जाए और उसकी नमाज़-ए-जनाज़ा पढ़ी जाए।

If a child is born before completing six months of pregnancy, but it cries when it is born or the child is born after 120 days of pregnancy, the child should be buried through normal procedure; give Ghusl to the child, shroud the corpse and perform Salaah.
