29- De Joden zullen deelnemen aan de uitgaven met de gelovigen wanneer zij zich in een staat van oorlog bevinden.

30- De Joden van de Banu ‘Awf, hun bondgenoten en zijzelf, vormen een moslimgemeenschap (Ummah) naast de gelovigen. De Joden hebben hun religie (Deen) en de gelovigen hebben hun religie (Deen), behalve degene die de grens overschrijdt (onrecht pleegt) en een zonde begaat (misdaad), aangezien hij slechts zichzelf en zijn huishouden schade zal berokkenen.

30- The Jews of the Banu ‘Awf, their allies and themselves, are an Ummah (collective) alongside the believers. The Jews have their Deen (religion) and the believers have their Deen, except for the one who transgresses (commits injustice) and commits a sin (crime), as he will only be hurting himself and his household.

37- Jafnah zijn slechts een clan van Tha‘labah en daarom zijn zij zoals hen.

38- En hetzelfde geldt voor Banu Ash-Shatna als wat geldt voor de Joden van Banu ‘Awf.

39- Goed en oprecht gedrag wordt vereist en niet slecht of crimineel gedrag (d.w.z. van de partijen van de Sahifa). Niemand verdient iets, behalve dat hij het voor zichzelf verdient.

39- Good and upright conduct is demanded and not bad or criminal conduct (i.e. from the parties of the Sahifa). No person earns anything except that he earns it against himself.

40- De bondgenoten van Tha’labah zijn zoals zij.

40- The allies of Tha’labah are like them.

41- En de nauwe of intieme vrienden/associaties van de Joden zijn zoals zij.

41- And the close or intimate friends/associates of the Jews are like them.
