Hay trece actos obligatorios en la Salah. Son los siguientes:

There are thirteen compulsory acts in Salaah. They are as follows:

1. Formular la intención de la Salāh al pronunciar el Allahu Akbar al inicio de la Salāh

1. To make the intention of Salaah when saying Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

2. Ponerse de pie en la Salah obligatoria (Fardh), si se es capaz

2. To stand upright in Fardh Salaah, if capable

3. Decir Allahu Akbar al comienzo de la Salah

3. To say Allahu Akbar at the beginning of Salaah

4. Recitar Al-Fātiḥah

4. To recite Al-Faatihah

5. Hacer el Ruku' con calma y sin prisas

5. To make Ruku’ calmly and unhurriedly

6. Ponerse de pie erguido después del Ruku'

6. To stand up erect after Ruku’

7. Realizar dos postraciones (sajdah)

7. To make two Sajdaah

8. Sentarse entre dos sajdahs

8. To sit between two Sajdaah

9. Sentarse al final de la Salah

9. To sit at the end of Salaah

10. Recitar el Tashahhud en el último asiento

10. To read Tashahhud in the final sitting

11. Recitar el Durood en el último sentado

11. To read Durood in the final sitting

12. Realizar cada parte de la Salah en el orden correcto

12. To perform every part of Salaah in proper order

13. Terminar la Salah dando el primer saludo (Salam)

13. To end Salaah by making first Salaam

1. Definir la Salah al formular la intención, y también la intención de Fardh, si se trata de una obligatoria (Fardh).

1. To define Salaah while intending and make the intention of Fardh as well, if it is a Fardh.

2. Definir la Salāh al intentar y hacer su Qadā' cuando se omite, si pertenece a aquellas Nawāfil que se realizan en un momento determinado o por una razón particular (2)

2. To define Salaah while intending and make Qazaa of it when missed, if it is amongst such Nawaafil which is performed at an appointed time or for a particular reason (2)

3. Hacer solo la intención de la Salah, si es un Nafl general

3. To make only intention of Salaah, if it is a general Nafl

1. Para mantener la secuencia correcta

1. To maintain correct sequence

2. Recitar un Aayah tras otro sin ninguna demora

2. To recite one Aayah after another without any delay

3. Pronunciar correctamente cada letra que lleva una Tashdeed (shaddah).

3. To pronounce correctly every letter which has a Tashdeed upon it

4. Para no cometer un error de este tipo, que cambie el significado.

4. To not make such mistake which changes the meaning

5. Recitar de tal manera que uno pueda oír su propia recitación

5. To recite in a manner that one can hear one’s recitation

6. No añadir ninguna palabra que no sea parte de las palabras del Glorioso Qur'an

6. To not add any word which is beside the words of the Glorious Qur’aan

1. Inclinarse colocando ambas manos sobre las rodillas

1. To bow down by placing both the hands on the knees

2. Inclinarse manteniendo la espalda y la cabeza rectas y al mismo nivel

2. To bow down by keeping back and head straight and at the same level

1. Postrarse con la ayuda de siete partes del cuerpo (3)

1. To make Sajdah with the help of seven parts of the body (3)

2. Mantener la frente descubierta

2. To keep the forehead disclosed

3. No realizar la sajdah sobre algo que se mueve mientras uno se postra.

3. To not make Sajdah on such a thing that moves while prostrating
