Hay seis factores que hacen obligatorio el Ghusl. Los factores son los siguientes:

There are six factors that make Ghusl obligatory. The factors are as follows:

1. Que el glande (2) del órgano sexual del hombre entre en el órgano sexual de la mujer.

1. To get glans (2) of male’s private part into female’s private one

2. Eyacular semen

2. To discharge semen

3. Que a un musulmán que no ha muerto como mártir le llegue la muerte

3. To occur death to a Muslim who has not been martyred

4. Experimentar el curso menstrual

4. To experience the menstrual course

5. Que fluya sangre después del parto

5. To flow blood after childbirth

6. Dar a luz a un hijo

6. To give birth to a child

Los dos actos siguientes son obligatorios en el ghusl:

The below mentioned two acts are compulsory in Ghusl:

1. Hacer la intención al lavar la primera parte del cuerpo

1. To make intention when washing the first part of the body

2. Hacer que el agua llegue a todo el cuerpo y a las raíces del cabello

2. To let water reach the entire body and the roots of hair

Hay muchos actos de la Sunnah en el ghusl. Algunos de ellos son los siguientes:

There are many Sunnah acts in Ghusl. Some of them are as follows:

1. Hacer el istinyaa (istinya)

1. To make Istinjaa

2. Realizar el Wudhu antes de bañarse

2. To perform Wudhoo before taking a bath

3. Frotar el cuerpo

3. To rub the body

4. Comenzar con el lado derecho y el lado del cuerpo

4. To begin with the right and side of the body

5. Verter agua tres veces

5. To pour water three times

6. Lavar la siguiente parte del cuerpo antes de que la anterior se seque

6. To wash the next part of the body before the former gets dry

Los requisitos que son condición para la validez del Wudu también son condición para la validez del Ghusl.

The factors that are conditional for the validity of Wudhoo are conditional for the validity of Ghusl as well.

Los actos que son makrūh en el wudu también son makrūh en el ghusl.
