‘Adī ibn Ḥātim 叙述说，在他接受伊斯兰之前，“我与先知ﷺ在一起时，一个人来到他面前诉说贫困，接着又有一个人来诉说遭遇拦路抢劫。先知ﷺ说：‘阿迪啊，你见过希拉（在伊拉克）吗？’我说：‘没有，但我听说过。’他说：‘如果你活得够长，你将会看到一个女人乘着骆驼从希拉出发，绕行天房，除了真主之外她不畏惧任何人。’我心里想：‘那么泰伊的强盗们，那些劫掠这些地方的人，又会在哪里呢？’先知ﷺ接着说：‘如果你活得够长，霍尔穆兹之子科斯洛埃斯的宝藏将被征服。’我说：‘霍尔穆兹之子科斯洛埃斯？’他确认道：‘霍尔穆兹之子科斯洛埃斯。如果你活得够长，你将会看到一个人走出来，双手捧着金子或银子，寻找愿意接受的人，却找不到任何人接受。’后来，‘Adī 说：‘我确实见过一个女人乘着骆驼从希拉出发，绕行天房，除了真主之外她不畏惧任何人；我也是征服霍尔穆兹之子科斯洛埃斯宝藏的人之一。如果你活得够长，你将会看到艾卜勒·卡西姆——先知ﷺ——所说关于一个人走出来、双手捧满……的事情。’”285 穆斯林历史学家记载，找不到符合条件的人接受天课的情况发生在阿拔斯王朝哈里发欧麦尔·本·阿卜杜·阿齐兹（卒于720年）在位期间。

‘Adī ibn Ḥātim  narrates that prior to accepting Islam, “As I was with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, a man came to him complaining of poverty, and then another came to him complaining of highway robbery. He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, ‘O ‘Adī, have you seen al-Ḥīrah (in Iraq)?’ I said, ‘No, but I have been told about it.’ He said, ‘If you live long enough, you will see a woman travel on camel from al- Ḥīrah till she circles the Ka‘bah not fearing anyone but Allah.’ I said to myself, ‘Where then would the bandits of Ṭay’ be, who have pillaged these lands?’ He صلى الله عليه وسلم continued, ‘And if you live long enough, the treasures of Chosroes, the son of Hurmuz, will be conquered.’ I said, ‘Chosroes, the son of Hurmuz?’ He confirmed, ‘Chosroes, the son of Hurmuz. And if you live long enough, you will see a man walking out, hand filled with gold or silver, seeking someone to accept it but he will not find anyone to accept it.’ Later in his life, ‘Adī said, ‘I have in fact seen a woman travel on camel from al-Ḥīrah till she circled the Ka‘bah while not fearing anyone but Allah, and I was among those who conquered the treasures of Chosroes, the son of Hurmuz. And if you live long enough, you will see what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم—Abūl Qāsim—said regarding a man walking out, hand filled…’”285 Muslim historians document that the inability to find someone eligible to accept charity took place during the reign of the ‘Abbāsid caliph, ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azīz (d. 720).
