2. Prophet Idris (enoch)
अल्लाह ने इदरीस (अलैहिस्सलाम) की प्रशंसा करते हुए उन्हें एक नबी और सच्चा (सिद्दीक़) बताया है।
Allah has praised Enoch, describing him as being a prophet and truthful:
किताब (क़ुरआन) में इदरीस (हनोक) का ज़िक्र करो। निश्चय ही वह सच्चे इंसान और एक नबी थे। हमने उन्हें ऊँचे दर्जे पर उठाया।
"Mention in the Book (Quran) Idris (Enoch). Verily! He was a man of truth (and) a prophet. We raised him to a high station". (Ch 19:56-57 Quran).

Birth and Teachings
हनोक का जन्म और पालन-पोषण बाबुल में हुआ, जहाँ वे आदम (अलैहिस्सलाम) और उनके बेटे शीस (अलैहिस्सलाम) की शिक्षाओं और धर्म का पालन करते थे। हनोक आदम (अलैहिस्सलाम) की पाँचवीं पीढ़ी में थे। उन्होंने लोगों को अपने पूर्वजों के धर्म की ओर वापस बुलाया, लेकिन बहुत कम लोगों ने उनकी बात सुनी, जबकि अधिकतर लोग मुँह फेर बैठे।
Enoch was born and raised in Babylon following the teachings and religion of Prophet Adam (pbuh) and his son Seth (pbuh). Enoch was the 5th generation of the Prophet Adam. He called the people back to his forefathers religion, but only a few listened to him, while the majority turned away.
