لا تُنزَع نعمةٌ عن عبدٍ من عباد الله إلا بذنوبه، ولا يقع بلاءٌ ولا عقوبةٌ إلا بسبب معاصيه. قال علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه: «لا يَنزِل بلاءٌ إلا بذنبٍ، ولا يُرفَع إلا بتوبة»، لأن الله تعالى يقول: ﴿وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَن كَثِيرٍ﴾. وقال تعالى: ﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ﴾. فالله تعالى يُخبرنا أنه لا يغيّر النعم التي أنعم بها على عبده إلا إذا غيّر العبدُ ما بنفسه. والعاصي يُحوّل الطاعةَ إلى معصية، والشكرَ على نعم الله إلى كفرانٍ بها، والأسبابَ المؤدية إلى رضا الله إلى أسباب تجلب سخطه. قال تعالى: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ﴾ (بارتكابهم المعاصي وكفرانهم وعصيانهم لله).

No blessing is removed from a Servant of Allah ~ except by his/her own misdeeds; and no misfortune or punishment befalls him/her but from his/her own sins. Ali bin Abi Talib ~ said: "No affliction comes down except due to a sin , and it is not removed except with repentance", for Allah ~ said: (Whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much Y He ~ also said: ( That is so because Allah will never change a Grace which He has bestowed on a people until they change what is in themselves. ) 2 Allah ~ informs us that He will not change the Blessings, which He ~ has bestowed upon His Servant, unless His Servant changes them for him/her self. But a sinner changes obedience to Allah into disobedience, thankfulness for the Blessings of Allah into ungratefulness towards Him ~' and the causes that lead to Allah's Pleasure into those that cause His Curse. Allah ~ said: (Verily, Allah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state themselves (by continuing to commit sins and be ungrateful and disobedient to Allah)) 3
