الإحسان هو الإتقان في أداء الواجبات. وهو عبادة الله ﷻ كأنك تراه، فإن لم تستطع أن تتصوره، فاعلم أنه ﷻ يراك. وإذا خرج العاصي من حال الإحسان حُرم من ثواب الله ﷻ الذي يُعطى لمن أجاد في أداء فرائض دينه. وإذا تعلّق الإحسان بالقلب منعه من ارتكاب المعاصي؛ لأن من يعبد الله ﷻ عبادة متقنة هو من امتلأ قلبه بمحبة الله ﷻ والرجاء فيه والخوف منه وذكره، فيعبده كأنه يراه، فيُمنع من معصيته. ولذلك إذا خرج الإنسان من حال الإحسان تُرك وحده مع نفسه يحاول أن يتمتع بالحياة. فإن أراد الله ﷻ به خيرًا وفّقه إلى حلقة المؤمنين، وأما إن عصى الله ﷻ وانغمس في الذنوب، أخرجه الله ﷻ من حال الإيمان، كما قال النبي ﷺ: «لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن، ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشربها وهو مؤمن، ولا يسرق السارق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن...» [١]. فاجتنب الذنوب على اختلاف أنواعها، وبادر بالتوبة ما دام ذلك ممكنًا لك.

lhsan is perfection in performing one's obligations. It is worshipping Allah as though you see Him, but if you are unable to imagine Him, you should remember that He ~ sees you. When a sinner is removed from the state of lhsan , he/she is deprived of receiving the Reward(s) of Allah ~' which are given to those who excel in fulfilling their religious duties. When lhsan is related to the heart, it prevents it from committing sins; because a person who worships Allah ~ ' with perfection, is one whose heart is filled with love, hope , fear and remembrance of Allah ~ - He worships Allah ~ as though he sees Him, and so he is prevented from disobeying Him. Therefore, when a person is removed from the state of lhsan , he/she is left among his/her own private company to try to enjoy life. If Allah ~ wants good for him/her, He ~ assigns him/her at the circle of the believers; but if he/she disobeys Allah ~ and indulges in sins, Allah ~ removes him/her from the state of Iman (good faith), as was said by the Prophet ~ : "A fornicator is not a believer at the time of committing fornication. The one who drinks wine is not a believer at the time of drinking wine. A thief is not a believer at the time of thieving ... " 1 Therefore, avoid committing sins , whatever their nature, and take the chance to repent, while it is still possible for you to do so .
