ويُصيب غيرَ الإنسان من الناس والحيوانات مصائبُ بسبب ذنوبِ الإنسان. قال أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه: «تموتُ الحبارى في أوكارها بسبب ظلمِ الظالم». وقال مجاهد: «تلعن الدوابُّ عُصاةَ بني آدم في أوقات الشدة والقحط، فتقول: هذه المصيبة بسبب ذنوب بني آدم». وقال عكرمة: «جميعُ الدوابِّ، حتى الجُعلان والعقارب، تقول: مُنعنا المطرَ بسبب ذنوب بني آدم».

Other people and animals suffer misfortunes because of a person's sins. Abu Hurayrah ~ said: "Bustards die in their nests because of the injustice of the wrongdoer." Mujahid said : "Animals curse the sinners among the Children of Adam in times of hardship and drought. They say: This calamity is the result of the sins of mankind." 'Ikrimah said: "All animals, including dung beetles and scorp10ns say : 'We are denied rain because of the sins of mankind."'
