[ʿAbd Allāh:] 我听父亲说："荣耀之主在梦中向我显现，我问祂如何才能最好地亲近祂。" 91.1

[ʿAbd Allāh:] I heard my father say, “The Lord of Glory appeared to me in a dream and I asked Him how best to draw nearer to Him. 91.1

“通过我的言语，艾哈迈德，”他说。

“‘Through my Speech, Aḥmad,’ He said.

“‘我们必须理解它吗？’我问道。”

“‘Do we have to understand it?’ I asked.

“他说：‘无论你是否理解，它都有效。’”［Ṣadaqah ibn al-Faḍl：］我从库法前往巴格达，身上没有任何钱可花。到达Ṣarṣar运河时，我已经饥饿难耐。我走进那里的一座清真寺，不知不觉睡着了。醒来时，发现一个人正用脚推我。那人是艾哈迈德·伊本·罕百勒。他身边有一个搬运工，扛着面包。91.2

“He said, ‘It works whether you understand it or not.’” [Ṣadaqah ibn al-Faḍl:] I was traveling from Kufa to Baghdad without any money to spend. By the time I reached the Ṣarṣar Canal I was starving. I went into a mosque there and fell asleep. I woke up to find a man joggling me with his foot. It was Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal. With him was a porter carrying bread. 91.2

“昨晚我做了一个梦，”他说，“一个声音说：‘你的朋友萨达卡·伊本·法德尔从库法来了，情况很糟，你去帮帮他。’”

“Last night I had a dream,” he said. “A voice said, ‘Your friend Ṣadaqah ibn al- Faḍl has arrived from Kufa in a bad way so go help him.’”
