যদি সুধারণা কাজ ও কর্মের প্রতি উৎসাহিত করে, তবে তা সঠিক; আর যদি তা অলসতা ও পাপে লিপ্ত থাকাকে উৎসাহিত করে, তবে তা প্রতারণা। সুধারণা হলো একটি আকাঙ্ক্ষা, সুতরাং যার আকাঙ্ক্ষা তাকে আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করতে এবং পাপ থেকে বিরত রাখে, তা একটি সঠিক আকাঙ্ক্ষা; কিন্তু যার আকাঙ্ক্ষা হলো নিষ্ক্রিয় বসে থাকা, তবে সে নিশ্চিতভাবেই প্রতারিত। এটি ঠিক সেই ব্যক্তির মতো, যে আল্লাহ ﷻ সম্পর্কে সুধারণা পোষণ করে এবং প্রবল আকাঙ্ক্ষা রাখে জান্নাতের সর্বোচ্চ স্তর লাভের, চিরস্থায়ী অনুগ্রহের মাঝে, অথচ আল্লাহর আদেশ মানে না! আল্লাহ ﷻ বলেন: {নিশ্চয়ই যারা ঈমান এনেছে, এবং যারা হিজরত করেছে (আল্লাহর দ্বীনের জন্য) এবং আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করেছে; তারাই আল্লাহর রহমতের আশা করে।}

If a good opinion advocates work and action then 1t 1s correct, however if it recommends idleness and indulgence in sins, then it is deception. Good opinion is a wish, so whoever' s wish is guiding him to obey Allah ~' and preventing him from committing sins, then it is a sound wish; but whoever's wish is to stay idle, then he is definitely deceived. It is like someone who has good opinion of Allah ~' with a strong wish to achieve the highest level in Paradise, in an eternal Grace, without obeying the Commands of Allah! Allah ~ said: ( Verily, those who have believed, and those who have emigrated (for Allah's Religion) and have striven hard in the way of Allah; all these hope for Allah's Mercy) . 2

আল্লাহ যেভাবে তাঁর আনুগত্যের উপর ভিত্তি করে তাদের আশা স্থাপন করেছেন, তা লক্ষ্য করুন (তারা ঈমান এনেছে, তাঁর দ্বীনের জন্য হিজরত করেছে, এবং কঠোর সংগ্রাম করেছে)। যারা প্রতারিত, তারা বলে: "যারা আল্লাহর অধিকার (তাঁর বান্দাদের উপর), সে বিষয়ে অবহেলা করে, অন্য মানুষের প্রতি অন্যায় আচরণ করে এবং আল্লাহর পবিত্র বিষয়াবলি লঙ্ঘন করে, তারাও আল্লাহর রহমতের আশা করে।" কিন্তু আল্লাহর প্রতি আশা রাখা ও তাঁর সম্পর্কে সুধারণা পোষণ করা তখনই সত্য হয়, যখন তা আল্লাহর হিকমত দ্বারা নির্দেশিত কারণসমূহের সাথে যুক্ত থাকে, যেমন তাঁর ওহী, তাঁর তাকদীর, তাঁর প্রতিদান ও তাঁর উদারতা। আল্লাহর বান্দার উচিত তার দায়িত্বসমূহ পালন করা, এরপর তার রবের প্রতি সুধারণা রাখা, এবং তাঁর কাছে প্রার্থনা করা যেন তিনি তাকে তাঁর প্রতিদান লাভের উপলক্ষ বানান।

Look at how Allah ~ made their hope based upon obeying Him (believed, emigrated for His Religion, and strived hard). The deceived people say: "Those who neglect the Rights of Allah (upon His Servants), act unjustly towards other people, and violate His sanctities, are also people who hope for Allah's ~ Mercy." However, having hope and a good opinion of Allah is rather true when they come with the reasons suggested by the Wisdom of Allah ~ in His Revelation, Divine Decree, Reward and Generosity. A Servant of Allah ~ should fulfil his obligations and then have a good opinion of his Lord, imploring the Lord to make them the cause of receiving His Recompense.
