অন্যান্য মানুষ ও প্রাণীরাও একজন মানুষের পাপের কারণে দুর্ভোগে পড়ে। আবূ হুরায়রা (রা.) বলেছেন: "যালিমের অত্যাচারের কারণে নিজেদের বাসার ভেতরেই মরে যায় বাস্টার্ড পাখিরা।" মুজাহিদ (রাহ.) বলেছেন: "দুর্ভিক্ষ ও খরার সময় প্রাণীরা আদম সন্তানের মধ্যকার পাপীদের অভিশাপ দেয়। তারা বলে: এই বিপর্যয় মানুষের পাপের ফল।" ইকরিমা (রাহ.) বলেছেন: "গোবরে পোকা ও বিছাসহ সকল প্রাণী বলে: মানুষের পাপের কারণে আমাদের বৃষ্টি থেকে বঞ্চিত করা হচ্ছে।"

Other people and animals suffer misfortunes because of a person's sins. Abu Hurayrah ~ said: "Bustards die in their nests because of the injustice of the wrongdoer." Mujahid said : "Animals curse the sinners among the Children of Adam in times of hardship and drought. They say: This calamity is the result of the sins of mankind." 'Ikrimah said: "All animals, including dung beetles and scorp10ns say : 'We are denied rain because of the sins of mankind."'
