دوسرے لوگ اور جانور بھی کسی شخص کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے مصیبتوں میں مبتلا ہوتے ہیں۔ ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: "ظالم کے ظلم کی وجہ سے حبارٰی (بڑے پرندے) اپنے گھونسلوں میں مر جاتے ہیں۔" مجاہد نے فرمایا: "قحط اور خشک سالی کے وقت جانور بنی آدم کے گناہگاروں پر لعنت کرتے ہیں، وہ کہتے ہیں: یہ آفت بنی نوع انسان کے گناہوں کا نتیجہ ہے۔" عکرمہ نے فرمایا: "تمام جانور، حتیٰ کہ گوبر کے کیڑے اور بچھو بھی کہتے ہیں: ہمیں بنی نوع انسان کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے بارش سے محروم رکھا گیا ہے۔"

Other people and animals suffer misfortunes because of a person's sins. Abu Hurayrah ~ said: "Bustards die in their nests because of the injustice of the wrongdoer." Mujahid said : "Animals curse the sinners among the Children of Adam in times of hardship and drought. They say: This calamity is the result of the sins of mankind." 'Ikrimah said: "All animals, including dung beetles and scorp10ns say : 'We are denied rain because of the sins of mankind."'
