اللہ ﷻ نے اپنے رسولوں کو بھیجا، اپنی وحی نازل فرمائی، اور آسمانوں اور زمین کو اس لیے پیدا کیا کہ صرف اُسی کی عبادت کی جائے۔ اللہ ﷻ چاہتا ہے کہ ہر اطاعت اور عبادت کی ہر دعوت صرف اُسی کی طرف متوجہ ہو، کیونکہ وہی وہ واحد معبود ہے جو ہر چیز کا مالک ہے۔ اللہ ﷻ نے فرمایا: ﴿میں نے جن و انس کو صرف اس لیے پیدا کیا کہ وہ میری عبادت کریں﴾۔ 1 ﴿ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے، حق کے سوا پیدا نہیں کیا﴾۔ 2 ﴿اللہ وہ ہے جس نے سات آسمان پیدا کیے اور زمین میں بھی ویسے ہی پیدا کیے۔ اُس کا حکم ان کے درمیان نازل ہوتا ہے، تاکہ تم جان لو کہ اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، اور یہ کہ اللہ نے اپنے علم سے ہر چیز کا احاطہ کر رکھا ہے﴾۔ 3 ﴿اللہ نے کعبہ، یعنی بیتِ حرام کو لوگوں کے لیے امن اور فائدے کا ذریعہ بنایا، اور حرمت والے مہینے اور قربانی کے جانور اور گلے میں پٹّے ڈالے ہوئے جانور بھی (اسی مقصد سے بنائے)، تاکہ تم جان لو کہ اللہ آسمانوں اور زمین کی ہر چیز کو جانتا ہے، اور اللہ ہر چیز کا خوب جاننے والا ہے﴾۔ 4 پس اللہ ﷻ نے ہمیں آگاہ فرمایا کہ اس کی تخلیق اور اس کے حکم کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنے اسماء و صفات کے ذریعے پہچانا جائے، اور صرف وہی عبادت کا مستحق ٹھہرے، اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہرایا جائے۔ وہ چاہتا ہے کہ لوگ آپس میں انصاف کے ساتھ معاملہ کریں، کیونکہ یہی وہ عدل ہے جس پر آسمانوں اور زمین کا قیام ہے۔ اس نے فرمایا: ﴿بے شک ہم نے اپنے رسولوں کو واضح دلائل کے ساتھ بھیجا، اور ان کے ساتھ کتاب اور میزان نازل کی، تاکہ لوگ انصاف قائم رکھیں﴾۔ 5 عدل کی سب سے اعلیٰ مثال توحید ہے (یعنی اکیلے اللہ کی عبادت کرنا)، جبکہ سب سے بڑا ظلم شرک ہے، جو کبیرہ گناہوں میں سب سے بڑا ہے۔ اس بنیاد پر خوب غور کرنا چاہیے اور اس کی تفصیلات جاننی چاہییں، تاکہ اُس بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والے (اللہ ﷻ) کی حکمت معلوم ہو، ہر اس چیز میں جس کا اس نے حکم دیا اور ہر اس چیز میں جس سے اس نے منع فرمایا۔ شرک کی بنیاد یقیناً توحید کی ضد ہے، اس لیے شرک کو کبیرہ گناہوں میں سب سے بڑا گناہ قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ اسی بنا پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہر مشرک کے جنت میں داخلے کو حرام ٹھہرایا ہے۔ اس نے مسلمانوں کے لیے مشرک کے خون، مال اور اہل و عیال کو حلال کیا ہے، اور انہیں غلام بھی بنایا جا سکتا ہے۔ یہ اس لیے ہے کہ انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس حکم کو رد کر دیا ہے کہ صرف اسی کی عبادت کی جائے۔ وہ مشرکوں کے کسی بھی عمل کو قبول نہیں فرماتا، اور نہ ہی ان کی کسی سفارش کو قبول کرتا ہے۔ آخرت میں وہ ان کی دعاؤں کا جواب نہیں دے گا، کیونکہ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے بارے میں سب سے زیادہ جاہل تھے، کیونکہ انہوں نے اس کے ساتھ شریک ٹھہرائے، اور یہ ان کی طرف سے سب سے بُرا ظلم تھا، حالانکہ وہ محض اپنے آپ پر ظلم کر رہے تھے۔

Allah ~ sent His Messengers, sent down His Revelation, and created the heavens and the earth in order to be worshipped, Alone. Allah ~ wants all obedience and invitations of worship to be directed to Hirn ~. as He ~ is the One God, Who owns all things. Allah ~ has said: (I (Allah) did not create the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)) 1 (We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with the truth)2 (It is Allah Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof. His Command descends between them, that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah surrounds all things in (His) Knowledge.) 3 ( Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, an asylum of security and benefits for mankind, and also the Sacred Month and the animals of offerings and the garlanded, that you may know that Allah has knowledge of all that is in the heavens and that is in the earth; and Allah is the All-Knower of all things.)4 So Allah ~ has informed us that the purpose of His Creation and Command is: that He should be known through His Names and Attributes, and that He, Alone, should be worshipped, without associating any partner with Him. He ~ wants people to act fairly among themselves, as this fairness is the justice upon which the heavens and the earth were established; He ~ said: (Indeed, We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance Gustice) that mankind may keep up justice) 5 The highest example of justice is Monotheism (Worshipping Allah, Alone), while the greatest act of injustice is polytheism, being the greatest of the major sms. One should reflect well on this foundation, and know its details , in order to learn the wisdom of the Best of Judges (Allah ~ ), in everything that He has Commanded to do as well as everything He forbade. The basis of Shirk (polytheism) is certainly the opposite of Tawhid (Monotheism), and therefore Shirk is defined as the greatest of the major sins. Consequently, Allah ~ has forbidden the entry of every polytheist to Paradise. He ~ has legalised, for the Muslims, the blood, property and family of a polytheist, and they may even be taken as slaves. This is because they have rejected the Command of Allah ~ to worship Him, Alone. He ~ does not accept any of the deeds of polytheists, nor does He accept any intercession from them. He ~ will not answer their supplications in the Hereafter, because they were the most ignorant of Him ~' as they associated partners with Him, which was the worst act of injustice on their part, even though they were simply acting unjustly towards themselves.
