Der Gesandte ﷺ entsandte Zayd ibn Haritha als Emir nach Mu'tah und bestimmte die Emire, die ihm folgen sollten, falls er den Märtyrertod erleiden würde.

- The Messenger (PBUH) sent Zayd ibn Haritha as an amir in Mu’tah, and he appointed the amirs that were to follow him if he was martyred. .

Ibn Sa'd berichtete, dass der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ sagte: .

Ibn Sa’d narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: .

„Der Amir der Leute ist Zayd ibn Haritha; wenn er getötet wird, dann ist der Amir Ja'far ibn Abi Talib; und wenn auch er getötet wird, ist der Amir Abdullah ibn Ruwahah; und wenn auch er getötet wird, sollen die Muslime einen Mann aus ihrer Mitte wählen und ihn zu ihrem Amir machen.“

“The amir of the people is Zayd ibn Haritha; if he was killed then the amir is Ja’far ibn Abi Talib; and if he was killed the amir is Abdullah ibn Ruwahah; and if he was killed let the Muslims choose one man from among them and make him their amir.”.

Al-Bukhari überlieferte, dass Abdullah ibn ʿUmar (ra) sagte:

Al-Bukhari narrated that Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (ra) said: .

Der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ setzte im Feldzug von Mu'tah Zaid ibn Haritha als Amir ein…

“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) appointed in the expedition of Mu’tah Zayd ibn Haritha as amir…” .

Al-Bukhari überlieferte aus dem Hadith des Salamah ibn Al-Akwa': „Ich zog mit Zayd in den Kampf; er wurde als Amir über uns eingesetzt.“ Al-Bukhari und Muslim überlieferten, dass Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (ra) sagte:

Al-Bukhari narrated from the hadith of Salamah ibn Al-Akwa’: “I went to fight with Zayd; he was appointed amir over us”. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated that Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (ra) said: .

„Der Prophet (PBUH) entsandte ein Heer und setzte Usama ibn Zayd als Emir über sie ein. Einige Leute verleumdeten seine Führung, woraufhin der Prophet ﷺ sagte: ‚Wenn ihr seine Führung verleumdet, so habt ihr auch die Führung seines Vaters zuvor verleumdet. Bei Allah! Er ist würdig der Führung …‘“ [Bukhari, Sahih, Nr. 4250 und Muslim, Sahih, Nr. 2436]. Die Sahabah pflegten das Heer von Mu’tah das Heer der Emire zu nennen. Muslim überlieferte von Ibn Buraydah, er sagte: „Der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ pflegte ihn zu ermahnen, wenn er einen Emir über ein Heer oder eine Expedition einsetzte …“.

“The Prophet (PBUH) sent an army and appointed Usama ibn Zayd as an amir over them. Some people defamed his leadership, so the Prophet (PBUH) said: ‘If you defame his leadership you defamed the leadership of his father before. By Allah! He is worthy of leadership…’” [Bukhari, Sahih, #4250 and Muslim, Sahih, #2436]. The Sahabah used to call the army of Mu’tah the army of amirs. Muslim narrated from Ibn Buraydah, he said: “The Messenger of Allah ( PBUH) used to advise him when appointing an amir over an army or an expedition…” .

- Abu Bakr ernannte Khalid zum Anführer im Kampf gegen die Abtrünnigen und in der Schlacht von Al-Yarmuk. Khalifah sagte: „Er übertrug Khalid ibn Al-Walid die Führung über die Leute und setzte über die Ansar insbesondere Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas ein, während Khalid sie alle leitete“. Abu Bakr versammelte die Armeen von Al-Sham unter der Führung Khalids in Al-Yarmuk.

- Abu Bakr appointed Khalid as a leader in the fight against the apostates and in the battle of Al-Yarmuk. Khalifah said, “He gave Khalid ibn Al-Walid leadership over the people, and appointed upon the ansar specifically Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas, whilst Khalid managed all of them”. Abu Bakr gathered the armies of Al-Sham under the leadership of Khalid in Al-Yarmuk. .

Ibn Jarir sagte: „Und er ließ ihn, während er im Irak war, nach al-Sham rufen, damit er dorthin kommt und der Amir über die Heere in ihr wird.“ ʿUmar versammelte die Heere von al-Sham unter der Führung von Abu ʿUbaida. Ibn ʿAsākir sagte: „Und er war der Erste, der in al-Sham den Amir der Amire ernannte.“

Ibn Jarir said: “And he sent for him while he was in Iraq to come to Al-Sham and be the amir over the armies in it”. ‘Umar gathered the armies of Al-Sham under the leadership of Abu ‘Ubaidah, Ibn ’Asakir said: “And he was the first to name the amir of the amirs in Al-sham”.
