Nous savons qu'Allah ~ a ordonné à Son Prophète ~ de demander le pardon pour les croyants et les croyantes, comme Il ~ l'a dit : {Ceux qui portent le Trône et ceux qui l'entourent célèbrent les louanges de leur Seigneur, croient en Lui et demandent pardon pour ceux qui croient : « Notre Seigneur ! Tu embrasses toute chose par Ta miséricorde et Ton savoir. Pardonne donc à ceux qui se repentent et suivent Ta voie, et préserve-les du châtiment de la Fournaise ! Notre Seigneur ! Fais-les entrer dans les jardins d'Éden que Tu leur as promis, ainsi qu'aux justes parmi leurs pères, leurs épouses et leur descendance. Tu es, en vérité, le Tout-Puissant, le Sage. Préserve-les des mauvaises actions, et celui que Tu préserves des mauvaises actions ce jour-là, Tu lui auras certes accordé Ta miséricorde. Tel est le succès suprême.} 1 Telle est l'invocation des Anges en faveur des croyants repentants qui suivent le Livre d'Allah et la sunna de Son Messager ﷺ. Les autres ne doivent pas chercher à tirer profit de cette invocation s'ils ne possèdent pas les mêmes qualités.

We know that Allah ~ ordered His Prophet ~ to seek forgiveness for the believing men and women, as He ~ said: (Those (Angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah), saying: "Our Lord! You comprehend all things, in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! Our Lord! And make them enter the Paradise of Eden which you have promised them - and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. Save them from sins, and whomsoever You save from sins that Day, him verily, You have taken into mercy." That is the supreme success.) 1 This is the supplication of the Angels for the repentant believers, who follow the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ~- Other people should not seek benefit from this supplication, if they do not possess the same attributes.
