Ибн Са'д передал, что Айша, да будет доволен ею Аллах, рассказывала: один человек сказал ей: «Опиши нам Абу Бакра». Она ответила: «Это был светлокожий мужчина, стройного телосложения, с впалыми щеками и слегка сутулый; он не мог удержать свою нижнюю одежду, чтобы она не спадала с бёдер; лицо его было худым, глаза глубоко посажены, лоб выдавался вперёд, а тыльная сторона ладоней была без мяса. Вот его описание». Он также передал, что Айша, да будет доволен ею Аллах, рассказывала, что Абу Бакр красил [свои волосы и бороду] хной и индиго (катам).

Ibn Sacd narrated that cA’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said that a man said to her, ‘Describe Abu Bakr to us.’ She said, ‘A fair man, of slender build, thin cheeked and with a stoop; he could not keep his lower garment from slipping over his loins; gaunt-faced, eyes deep-set, with a prominent forehead, and the backs of his hands fleshless. This is his description.’ He narrated that cA’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said that Abu Bakr used to dye [his hair and beard] with henna and indigo (katam).

Он передал, что Анас сказал: Посланник Аллаха ﷺ пришёл в Медину, и среди его сподвижников не было никого, у кого волосы были смешанного белого и чёрного цвета, кроме Абу Бакра. Тогда он окрасил их хной и индиго {катам}.

He narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went to Madinah and there was no-one among his companions having hair of mixed white and black except Abu Bakr, so he dyed it with henna and indigo {katam).
