সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। শায়খ মুহাম্মাদ এলশিনাওয়ির এই বিষয়ের প্রতি যে আবেগ ছিল তা আমি সরাসরি লক্ষ্য করেছি, তাই আমি জানতাম এই বইয়ের বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক দীপ্তির সঙ্গে লেখকের আবেগ মিশে একটি মাস্টারপিস তৈরি হবে।

All praise be to Allah. Noticing firsthand the passion Shaykh Mohammad Elshinawy had for the subject of this book, I knew its intellectual vigor would be mixed with the author’s passion to produce a masterpiece.

এই বিষয়ের চেয়ে বেশি আমাদের মনোযোগ ও নিষ্ঠা দাবি করে, এমন কোনো বিষয় আমি ভেবে পাই না: নবুওয়াতের প্রমাণসমূহ। অনিশ্চয়তা, সংশয় ও সন্দেহবাদের এই যুগে মানুষকে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি সত্যে দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস গড়ে তুলতে সাহায্য করার চেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আর কিছু নেই: মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ-এর নবুওয়াত। এই দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসই তাদের জন্য এই জীবনে ও পরজীবনে অন্তরের প্রশান্তি ও সুখের দ্বার খুলে দেবে।

There is no subject I can think of that needs our attention and dedication more than the proofs of prophethood. In an age of uncertainty, skepticism, and cynicism, there is nothing more important than helping people build certainty in a most salient truth: the prophethood of Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him). It is that certainty that will open wide for them the gates to inner peace and happiness in this life and the one to come.

বইটি নবী ﷺ-এর প্রেরিত হওয়ার ঐতিহাসিক প্রয়োজনীয়তা থেকে শুরু করে তাঁর সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ মুজিযা—অতুলনীয় কুরআন—পর্যন্ত বিভিন্ন প্রমাণের এক বিস্তৃত পরিসর তুলে ধরে। এতে তাঁর চরিত্র, কৃতিত্ব, বার্তা, ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী এবং দৈহিক মুজিযাগুলোও উপেক্ষা করা হয়নি। এতে প্রয়োজনীয় একাডেমিক নিষ্ঠা রয়েছে, কিন্তু আবেগের রুক্ষতা নেই। এটি বিস্তারিত, তবে অপ্রয়োজনীয় কিছু নেই।

The book covers a wide array of proofs from the historical necessity of the Prophet’s dispatchment to the greatest of his miracles—the inimitable Qur’an—without neglecting his character, accomplishments, message, prophecies, and physical miracles. It has the necessary academic integrity without its emotional austerity. It is detailed, yet not superfluous.

আল্লাহ নয়, "God" শব্দটি বাংলায় "আল্লাহ"-এর পরিবর্তে "ঈশ্বর" বা "খোদা" না লিখে বরং "God"-এর বাংলা প্রতিশব্দ হিসেবে "খোদা" লেখা যায়। তবে আপনার নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী "God" শব্দের বাংলা রূপ "ঈশ্বর"/"খোদা" ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। ঈশ্বরের অস্তিত্বে বিশ্বাসের ক্ষেত্রে আপনি প্রমাণবাদী (evidentialist) পদ্ধতিকে বেশি গুরুত্ব দিন বা প্রকৃতিবাদী (naturalist) পদ্ধতিকে, উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই নবুওয়াতের প্রমাণ ইসলামে বিশ্বাসের একটি অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হওয়া উচিত। আরোহী যুক্তি (inductive reasoning) ব্যবহার করে সম্ভাব্যতাভিত্তিক (probabilistic) পদ্ধতি এর মাধ্যমে নিশ্চিত জ্ঞান অর্জনের পথকে রুদ্ধ করে না। যুক্তিসমূহ যদি শক্তিশালী ও প্রচুর হয়, তবে তার মাধ্যমে নিশ্চিত জ্ঞান অর্জন এখনও সম্ভব। এরপর আধ্যাত্মিক অভিজ্ঞতা ও আত্মিক আলোকপ্রাপ্তির মাধ্যমে এই বিশ্বাস আরও দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হতে পারে।

Whether you place more importance on the evidentialist or naturalist approach to faith in God, the proofs of prophethood should be an integral part of faith in Islam. A probabilistic approach using inductive reasoning does not preclude the attainment of certainty through it. If the arguments are strong and plentiful, then certainty can still be achieved. It can then be further grounded by spiritual experience and enlightenment.

বিষয়ের গুরুত্বের পাশাপাশি এই গ্রন্থের ভূমিকা লিখতে পেরে আমি বিশেষ আনন্দ অনুভব করছি, কারণ এর লেখকের প্রতি আমার অনেক প্রত্যাশা রয়েছে। আমি আশা করি, আল্লাহ তাঁকে এই ভূমি এবং সারা বিশ্বে ইসলামের কাজে ব্যবহার করবেন।

In addition to the importance of the subject, I also find great pleasure in writing a foreword for this book because of its author of whom I have great expectations, and I hope that Allah will use him in serving the cause of Islam in this land and around the globe.

আল্লাহর রহমত ও শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক সেই মহান ব্যক্তির উপর, যাঁকে তিনি সমগ্র সৃষ্টির জন্য রহমতস্বরূপ প্রেরণ করেছেন, যিনি নবীদের সমাপ্তকারী এবং রাসূলদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ, মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ।

May God’s blessings and peace be on the one He sent as a mercy for all creatures, the seal of prophets and greatest of messengers, Muhammad.
