سعيد بن منصور نے روایت کیا کہ سعید بن المسيب نے کہا: عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ گویا تین چاند ان کے کمرے میں گرے ہیں۔ انہوں نے یہ بات ابوبکر کو بتائی - جو تعبیر کرنے والوں میں بہترین مردوں میں سے تھے - تو انہوں نے کہا، 'اگر تمہارا خواب سچا ہے، تو زمین کے بہترین تین لوگ تمہارے کمرے میں دفن کیے جائیں گے۔' جب نبی ﷺ کی وفات ہوئی، تو انہوں نے کہا، 'عائشہ، یہ تمہارے بہترین چاند ہیں۔' انہوں نے یہ بھی روایت کیا کہ عمر بن شرحبیل نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، 'میں نے خود کو سیاہ بھیڑیں چراتے ہوئے دیکھا، پھر ان کے بعد سفید بھیڑیں چراتے ہوئے دیکھا، یہاں تک کہ سیاہ بھیڑیں ان کے درمیان نظر نہیں آ رہی تھیں۔' ابوبکر نے کہا، 'اے اللہ کے رسول، جہاں تک سیاہ بھیڑوں کا تعلق ہے، تو وہ عرب ہیں جو بڑی تعداد میں مسلمان ہوں گے۔ سفید بھیڑیں وہ عجمی ہیں جو اس قدر مسلمان ہوں گے کہ عرب ان کے درمیان ان کی کثیر تعداد کی وجہ سے نظر نہیں آئیں گے۔' رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، 'بالکل اسی طرح، فجر سے پہلے فرشتے نے اس کی تعبیر بیان کی تھی۔' انہوں نے یہ بھی روایت کیا کہ ابن ابی لیلیٰ نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، 'میں نے خود کو ایک کنویں پر پانی نکالتے ہوئے دیکھا، اور سیاہ بھیڑیں پانی پینے کے لیے میرے پاس آئیں، پھر بعد میں گرد آلود سفید رنگ کی بھیڑیں آئیں۔' ابوبکر نے کہا، 'مجھے اس کی تعبیر کرنے دو،' اور انہوں نے پچھلی حدیث جیسی ہی تعبیر بیان کی۔

Sacid ibn Mansur narrated that Sacid ibn al-Musayyab said: CA’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, saw in a dream as if three moons fell in her room. She told it to Abu Bakr - he was one of the best of men in interpretation - and he said, ‘If your dream is true, then three of the best people on the earth will be buried in your room.’ When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died, he said, ‘CA’ishah, this is the best of your moons.’ He also narrated that cUmar ibn Shurahbil said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘I saw myself herding black sheep, then herding white sheep after them, until the black could not be seen among them.’ Abu Bakr said, ‘Messenger of Allah, as for the black sheep, they are the Arabs who will become Muslims in great numbers. The white sheep are the non-Arabs who will become Muslims until the Arabs cannot be seen among them because of their huge numbers.’ The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘In exactly the same way, the angel interpreted it before dawn.’ He has also narrated that Ibn Abi Layla said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘I saw myself at a well drawing water from it, and black sheep came to me to drink, then later dusty white coloured sheep.’ Abu Bakr said, ‘Let me interpret it,’ and he mentioned the like of the previous hadith.

ابن سعد نے روایت کی ہے کہ محمد بن سیرین نے فرمایا: اس امت کے نبی ﷺ کے بعد خوابوں کی تعبیر میں سب سے زیادہ ماہر ابو بکر تھے۔

Ibn Sacd narrated that Muhammad ibn Sirin said: The most skilled in interpretation of dreams of this ummah after its Prophet was Abu Bakr.

ابن سعد نے روایت کی ہے کہ ابن شہاب نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے ایک خواب دیکھا اور وہ ابو بکر کو سنایا۔ انہوں نے کہا، 'میں نے دیکھا گویا میں اور آپ سیڑھی چڑھنے میں جلدی کر رہے تھے اور میں آپ سے ڈھائی قدم آگے نکل گیا۔' انہوں نے کہا، 'اے اللہ کے رسول ﷺ، اللہ آپ کو اپنی مغفرت اور رحمت کی طرف لے جائے گا اور میں آپ کے بعد ڈھائی سال تک زندہ رہوں گا۔' عبدالرزاق نے اپنی مصنف میں روایت کی ہے کہ ابو قلابہ نے بیان کیا کہ ایک شخص نے ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا، 'میں نے نیند میں دیکھا کہ میں خون پیشاب کر رہا ہوں۔' انہوں نے کہا، 'تم وہ شخص ہو جو اپنی بیوی کے پاس (مباشرت کے لیے) اس وقت جاتا ہو جب وہ حیض کی حالت میں ہو، پس اللہ سے مغفرت مانگو اور دوبارہ ایسا نہ کرنا۔'

Ibn Sacd narrated that Ibn Shihab said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw a dream and told it to Abu Bakr. He said, ‘I saw as if I hastened to be first, I and you, up a ladder and that I beat you by two and a half steps.’ He said, ‘Messenger of Allah, Allah will take you to His forgiveness and mercy and I will live after you for two and a half years.’ cAbd ar-Razzaq narrated in his Musannaf that Abu Qilabah narrated that a man said to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, ‘I saw in sleep that I was urinating blood.’ He said, ‘You are a man who comes to his wife (in intercourse) while she is menstruating, so ask forgiveness of Allah and don’t do it again.’
