حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے دور میں درج ذیل نامور شخصیات کا انتقال ہوا:

سراقہ بن مالک بن جشم، جبار بن صخر، حاطب بن ابی بلتہ، تیاد بن زہیر، ابو اسید الساعدی، اوس بن الصامت، حارث بن نوفل، عبداللہ بن حذافہ، زید بن خارجہ جو موت کے بعد بولے، لبید شاعر، مسیب والدِ اسید، معاذ بن عمرو بن الجموہ، معبد بن عباس، معیقب بن ابی فاطمہ الدوسی، ابو لبابہ بن عبد المنذر، نعیم بن مسعود الاشجی اور دیگر صحابہ کرام۔

Suraqah ibn Malik ibn Jushum, Jabbar ibn Sakhr, Hatib ibn Abi Baltacah, Tyad ibn Zuhayr, Abu Usayd as-Sacidi, Aws ibn as-Samit, al-Harith ibn Nawfal, cAbdullah ibn Hudhafah, Zaid ibn Kharijah the one who spoke after death, Labid the poet, al-Musayyab the father of Sacid, Mucadh ibn cAmr ibn al-Jamuh, Macbad ibn alcAbbas, Mucayqib ibn Abi Fatimah ad-Dawsi, Abu Lubabah ibn cAbd al-Mundhir, Nu°aym ibn Mascud al-Ashjaci and others of the Companions.

صحابہ کرام کے علاوہ، قبیلہ حذیل کے شاعر حطیئہ اور ابو ذعیب بھی موجود تھے۔

Apart from the Companions there were Hutay’ah the poet and Abu Dhu’ayb the poet of the tribe of Hudhayl.
