संपत्ति की वृद्धि उन शैलियों और साधनों से संबंधित है जिनका उपयोग उसे उत्पन्न करने के लिए किया जाता है। तथापि, इस संपत्ति के स्वामित्व की वृद्धि उस तरीके से संबंधित है जिससे व्यक्ति इस स्वामित्व को बढ़ाता है। आर्थिक व्यवस्था का संपत्ति की वृद्धि से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है; बल्कि व्यवस्था स्वामित्व की वृद्धि से जुड़ी है। इस्लाम ने संपत्ति की वृद्धि में हस्तक्षेप नहीं किया, और उसने मनुष्य को उन शैलियों और साधनों से संपत्ति बढ़ाने के लिए छोड़ दिया जिन्हें वह उसके लिए उचित समझता है। लेकिन इस्लाम संपत्ति के स्वामित्व की वृद्धि में हस्तक्षेप करता है और उसने उसके नियम स्पष्ट किए हैं। स्वामित्व की वृद्धि उन सीमाओं से बंधी है जो शरीअत के प्रवर्तक ने निर्धारित की हैं, और जिनका उल्लंघन नहीं किया जा सकता। शरीअत के प्रवर्तक ने वे सामान्य दिशा-निर्देश रखे हैं जिनसे निर्धारित होता है कि स्वामित्व किस तरह बढ़ाया जा सकता है, और उसने इन दिशा-निर्देशों के विवरण घटनाओं की अपनी समझ के आधार पर उनसे निकालने का काम मुज्तहिदीन (विद्वानों) पर छोड़ा है। तथापि, शरीअत के प्रवर्तक ने कुछ तरीकों से स्पष्ट रूप से रोका भी है। इस प्रकार उसने उन लेन-देन और अनुबंधों को स्पष्ट किया है जिनके द्वारा स्वामित्व बढ़ाया जा सकता है, और उन्हें भी जिनसे व्यक्ति को स्वामित्व बढ़ाने से रोका गया है।

The increase of property is related to the styles and means used to produce it. However, increasing ownership of this property is related to the manner by which the person increases this ownership. The economic system has nothing to do with the increase of property; rather the system is involved with the increase of ownership. Islam did not interfere with the increase of property, and it left man to increase property by the styles and means, which He considers suitable for doing so. Islam does however interfere with the increase of ownership of property and has explained its rules. The increase of ownership is restricted by the limits given by the Lawgiver, which may not be transgressed. The Lawgiver has placed general guidelines to determine the manner by which ownership may be increased, and He (pbuh) left the scholars (Mujtahideen) to deduce the details of these guidelines from them based on their understanding of the incidents. However, the Lawgiver did prevent certain manners. Thus He explained the transactions and contracts with which ownership may be increased and those with which the person is prevented from increasing the ownership.
