Allah (swt) honrou os muçulmanos fazendo deles os portadores da Mensagem do Islam para o mundo inteiro, e Ele (que a paz esteja com Ele) determinou-lhes o método de transmitir sua Mensagem por meio da Da'wa e da Jihad. Tornou a Jihad obrigatória para eles e, assim, o treinamento militar é uma obrigação.

Allah (swt) has honoured the Muslims by making them the conveyors of the Message of Islam to the whole world and He (pbuh) has determined for them the method of carrying its Message by means of D’awa and Jihad. He  made Jihad compulsory upon them and thus military training is an obligation.

Portanto, todo muçulmano do sexo masculino que alcance a idade de quinze anos deve começar o treinamento militar em preparação para o Jihad. Quanto ao serviço militar obrigatório, este é, de fato, um dever coletivo.

Therefore, every male Muslim, who reaches the age of fifteen, should begin military training in readiness for Jihad. As for the military conscription, this is in fact a collective duty.

Evidência disto está refletida na palavra de Allah (SWT): "E combatei-os até que não haja perseguição e que a religião (a submissão por completo) seja toda de Allah". [TMQ 8:39]

Evidence of this is reflected in Allah’s (swt) saying; “And fight them on until there is no persecution and Deen (submission in its entirety) becomes to Allah” [TMQ 8:39]

e o Hadith do Profeta de Allah ﷺ: “Façam o Jihad contra os Mushrikeen com suas riquezas, mãos e línguas.” [Narrado por Abu Dawood, por intermédio de Anas]. Para que seja realizado conforme o caminho determinado pela Shari'ah, o combate com o objetivo de derrotar o inimigo e conquistar a terra exige treinamento militar. Portanto, o treinamento militar é obrigatório, assim como o Jihad, de acordo com o princípio da Shari'ah que estabelece: “Aquilo que é necessário para cumprir um dever é também um dever”. A exortação ao combate está abrangida pela ordem “e combatei-os”, que veio de forma geral. Quando Allah (SWT) diz: “E combatei-os”.

and the Hadith of the Prophet of Allah (pbuh); “Do perform Jihad against the Mushrikeen with your wealth, hands and tongues.” [Narrated by Abu Dawood on the authority of Anas] In order to be carried out according to the way determined by Shari’ah, fighting with the aim of beating the enemy and conquering the land, necessitates military training. Therefore military training is compulsory like Jihad, in accordance with the Shar’ai principle that states; “That which is necessary to accomplish a duty is itself a duty”. The soliciting of fighting falls within the order “and fight them” which came in general form. When Allah (swt) says; “And fight them”.

Esta é uma ordem de combate e uma ordem para realizar qualquer tarefa que torne o combate possível. Além disso, Allah (SWT) diz: "Preparai contra eles tudo o que puderdes de força armada." [TMQ 8:60]

This is an order to fight and an order to perform any task that makes the fighting possible. Besides this, Allah (swt) says, “Make ready for them all that (of armed force) you can.” [TMQ 8:60]

O treinamento e a alta especialização militar fazem parte da preparação do poder de combate, pois devem estar prontamente disponíveis para que o combate seja possível. Assim, o treinamento faz parte da força que deve ser obtida, como o armamento militar e as missões militares etc. Quanto ao alistamento militar, ele implica designar pessoas para fazerem parte permanentemente das forças armadas, isto é, para haver mujahidin praticando o jihad de forma efetiva e tudo o que o dever do jihad implica; isso é obrigatório. Isso se deve ao fato de que a prática do jihad é um dever contínuo, quer o inimigo nos tenha atacado ou não, razão pela qual o alistamento militar é um dever que está incluído no hukm do jihad.

Training and high military expertise form part of the preparation of fighting power, for they have to be readily available in order to make the fighting possible. Thus training forms part of the force that must be obtained such as military hardware and military missions etc. As for the military conscription, this necessitates the assignment of people to permanently be part of the armed forces, i.e. to have Mujahideen performing effective Jihad and whatever the duty of Jihad entails; this is compulsory. This is because the performance of Jihad is a continuous duty whether the enemy attacked us or not, which is why military conscription is a duty that is included in the Hukm of Jihad.
