Abdullah bin Mas'ud meriwayatkan bahwa Nabi ﷺ bersabda, "Aku pernah berniat menyuruh seseorang mengimami shalat, lalu aku pergi kepada orang-orang yang tidak ikut shalat berjamaah untuk membakar rumah-rumah mereka beserta isinya..." "Jika orang-orang meninggalkan shalat Jumat, Allah akan mengunci hati mereka sehingga mereka menjadi lalai."1

`Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud related that the Prophet (pbuh) said, "I have considered having a man lead people at prayer and going myself to those who stay back from attending the congregational prayer to bum their houses down upon them..” "If the people forgo the Friday Prayer, Allah will set a seal on their hearts for them to become heedless.”1

"Barangsiapa meninggalkan tiga kali shalat Jumat tanpa uzur yang dibenarkan syariat, maka Allah akan menutup hatinya."2

"Whoever misses three Friday prayers without a legal excuse, Allah will set a seal on his heart.”2

"Barangsiapa meninggalkan shalat Jumat tanpa uzur yang dibenarkan syariat atau bahaya, maka ia akan dicatat termasuk golongan orang-orang munafik dalam catatan yang tidak dapat dihapus atau diubah."3

"Whoever misses the Friday prayer without a (legal) excuse or a danger will be accounted amongst the hypocrites in a record that cannot be erased or altered.”3

Hafsa (semoga Allah ridha kepadanya) meriwayatkan, Nabi ﷺ bersabda, "Pergi untuk shalat Jumat itu wajib bagi setiap laki-laki yang telah baligh."4

Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) related, the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Going to the Friday prayer is obligatory for every male who has reached puberty.”4
